I just moved over from an LR3 (non-HD package) to an LR4 with the HD package. I'm still learning my way around it but can confirm for sure it is computer controlled.

I have 2 boys ages 3 and 12 and I certainly understand what your going through. My oldest would happily sit around with a load in his pants all day if we let him when younger! I guess my question is realistically how long are you going to be away from civilization (ie, gas station, market, etc)...

Ordered mine during the Lucky 8 sale over Thanksgiving. Looking forward to getting back and plugging it in to the LR4. Really excited to dump the Rhino lift rods and control my lift with the IID tool.

We made it to 192K miles with our 08' LR3. At about 45K miles the air suspension went out and a front wheel bearing. We were the 2nd owners but got an extended warranty. All was covered luckily. Shortly after that the parking brake acted up, again luckily replaced under the extended warranty...
