I love my Goretex Asolos but they get pretty hot in the summer months. That being said they keep my feet dry 12 months out of the year and haven't died yet after 5 years of use.

Do you guys that run the stoves in the rear under a hatch have any issues with grease build up on the glass/trunk lid? I've also been wondering about the heat build up. I've got the Adventure Trailers setup on the way for the JK but I would like to know if you guys have had any issues.

The jacket is definitely worth it. I've worn mine for 2 years now and have spent hours under the truck and in the dirt without an issue yet.

The cost of the wrap is going to vary depending on how much of the vehicle you actually decide to cover with vinyl. For example if you have a black truck and decide to wrap it a dark blue, then you really don't have to wrap the door jams. Unfortunately if you have a light colored truck such as...

Main reason is that it different from what everyone else has. As far as I know, no one had a indigo Jeep. Another reason that I don't really care about is that it will protect the paint. It's also easy to swap out individual panels as opposed to repainting the side of a truck.

Not to worried about the mud coming off, as long as I keep it washed and hose it off in a reasonable time it'll be alright.

I almost went the door route but it looked kind of funny. You'll also need to paint the hinges, if you try to wrap them they just fall apart.

The vinyl is actually pretty durable. It'll hold up well as long as you don't run a tree or scrape a rock. I'm no worried about everything else, but I'll give you guys a review in a few months after we hit the trail.
