    87 Jeep FrankenYJ Build

Hello all. I'm still very new to EP here. I picked up a suburban a few weeks ago, and some online perusement landed me here on behalf of that vehicle. Lo and behold, there's Jeep stuff here! Woohoo win/win for me! Not quite sure where to start with this thread. Let's see...I picked up this...

    My 2006 GMT800 2500 Auction Find...

Stopped by the auto parts store and got some duplicolor paint to touch up the paint issues on the hood temporarily. Not hoping for anything more than preventing some rust over the next 2 to 3 months, til I have time to take the hood off and get it repainted properly. Before and after of the...

    My 2006 GMT800 2500 Auction Find...

Definitely keeping it. I drove it to visit my dad yesterday in Houston, about a 190 mile round trip. Solid and smooth. Now with that dead weight out it feels a lot more peppy, not that it was a problem before. I'm gonna keep it and initially use it for a tow rig. Once the Jeep build is...

    My 2006 GMT800 2500 Auction Find...

Made some time today to de-police the burb. I thought it would take a lot longer than it actually did. I haven't removed the expanded metal from the windows yet, but wow...usable space! That weapon cabinet was super heavy, which explains the 3in or so the rear suspension gained after all this...

    My 2006 GMT800 2500 Auction Find...

Only G code (my CNC self is now laughing on the inside) on my sticker is GT4. I tried a VIN decoder and it showed as a commercial model with 3.73 gears. I never knew the govloc G80 was a GM RPO code for it, however I do have one to throw in there. In fact, I pulled the carrier because I need an...

I'm not sure. Are those in the glove box? I'm not really familiar with the RPO setup for the option codes on GM vehicles, as the last time I was doing anything with them was many moons ago in a galaxy far far away.

    My 2006 GMT800 2500 Auction Find...

Here's some more pictures of the burb. It's such a difficult decision to keep it or flip it. That being said, I do need a tow vehicle, and this definitely would fit that bill. I already have a in-depth Jeep build happening too, so that would eat away at motivation to do anything to the burb...

    My 2006 GMT800 2500 Auction Find...

Hey everyone, brand new here. Not really a long time lurker or anything, I just stumbled across this place when I was searching some gmt800 stuff. Then I saw this forum, and then Jeeps and WOW! Had to sign up! I very recently picked up a 2006 2500 4x4 burb off a large online auction, 153000...

Poor mans hummer gmt800 2500 yukon xl

I love my H2's on my Jeep. Picked 4 up for $250, not so much as a scratch on them or the caps. Now y'all have me looking for some for the burb!
