    4Door Bronco build

Wow! Great to find this thread. Thomas has been talking about this project a lot and its great to actually see the progress. I own the blue one he built last year that went to SEMA. Guess I need to put in my order for a 4 door creation before he gets too many more!

    I'm back in a Jeep, a JKU

Looks great. The one Front Runner makes uses the roof bolts to secure it as well. I bought their version and ditched it after about a week. It always rattled and seemed to be more in the way than useful for my needs.

How did you secure it to the Jeep?

2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Uberlanding Build

Front Runner makes a nice slider that allows you to still access that space as well as provide tie down spots for securing gear. Retails at $399 I think, simple install and clean look.

    AEV Jeep Conversions...

Not sure why I am defending AEV since I am getting rid of my Jeep for a Tacoma, but since I have one of their turnkey packages (no HEMI though!) I'll say that for $14,018 and less than a month waiting I was happy with what they offered. It didn't seem crazy that for that amount you got: front...

    NEMO Helio Pressure Shower

I have used one several times and it is great piece of gear. The hose is plenty long and the capacity is good enough for a shower. Only complaint I have is the carry handle is located right above the fill hole for the tank and can be in the way when filling with hot water.

    Newb checking in

Sounds good. Seems like half of the build threads I've read have swapped gears when stepping up to a 33 inch tire. Most of them also added a fair bit of weight so perhaps that is behind the gears too.

Will you do a gear swap too with that size tire?

    Wrangler Unlimited grille

New bumper, winch, and lights and you will hardly notice the grill.

They went through $3,000 in labor and wax to get it shining like that.

    09 JKU + supercharger vs '12+ JKU

My experience with my '12 Rubicon: I've put 19,000 miles on an unlimited with AEV350 package, automatic trans. Average mileage to date is 13.7 mpg. The best I have ever seen was a tank at 16.95, must have been windy behind me that trip. I drive a lot of highway in 65-75 mph range. This is my...

For sure worth the effort. Even better looking than I expected.

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Installed the GOBI roof rack. Spent 4 hours dealing with the AEV bumper and about 20 minutes with the rest of the rack. What a pain.

Show me your rear interior rack- JK

No photos but I tried the Front Runner interior rack and wasn't a fan. It always rattled and it was in the way more than it was useful. A folding option and easy to remove must be the way to go to allow for larger items. I also installed their cargo slide and I am a big fan though I haven't...

    Subaru XV Crosstrek

I have one and am a big fan. I'm getting about 30mpg over 8,000 miles. The interior is pretty simple and the power is lacking a bit but on the overall I enjoy it much more than my wife's Outback. It feels much more nimble than the Outback. I'm 6'5" and there is plenty of room to seat four...
