So if I do this to a couple more things (a water pump for instance) I should be fine right? (fine in terms of not screwing things up)...
Actually I have already done it - I removed a 12v fridge from my sportsmobile and capped the wires.
now my cabin lights (which run on the 2nd battery) don't stay on for more than 30s - so this would indicate that the 2nd battery isn't charging. I'm wondering what kind of problem I have cause...
