Actually I have already done it - I removed a 12v fridge from my sportsmobile and capped the wires.
now my cabin lights (which run on the 2nd battery) don't stay on for more than 30s - so this would indicate that the 2nd battery isn't charging. I'm wondering what kind of problem I have cause and how I might fix it...
this is a 1988 SMB and I want to gut it and build it to suit my needs. I would be removing a water pump and a couple of other things that run off the 2nd battery.
my questions: is it ok to simply remove something and cap the wires? or am I screwing up my 12v system?
also: is there a general reference (either a book or website) that anyone would suggest for learning about this stuff?
thanks in advance!
