Well, the 8800 I had my eye on has vanished. That said and while I may or may not use xband for now, I am looking at a Icon 2730 A Deluxe for 330.00 shipped. Thoughts? Durable?- mjac

I am just diving in and have lic to get but I have found a Yaesu 7900 for $274.95 and a Yaesu 8800 for $285.95. Each with all the bells an whistles shipped tmd. Get one? Which one?- mjac
