    How remote are you really going to get with over 2500# in the bed of your truck? I would try driving it down some rough roads to see how much you like it first. I boondock quite a bit but I don't like driving the rig deep into rough territory. I bring a dirt bike for that. ;)

    My '22 ram 3500 SRW short bed has 4200# payload on sticker but camper loading guide says 3300# max so it seems pretty common to under spec the camper weight vs payload.

    Changed to a Cassete Toilet

    Composting toilets like air head or natures head have a fan that is constantly pulling the stank out of the toilet to the outside via an external vent. I switched from cassette to an air head and for how I use my camper its a game changer. Zero smell and I can easily go 3-4 weeks of actual use...
