I got the eibach HD coils for my truck and it helped immensely without limiting articulation like some airbags do. I’d highly recommend for anyone with a coil sprung truck where you can just add a leaf.

My intent was to build out my 20ft enclosed to be a bit of a toy hauler camper for use at MI campgrounds, but I just don't have the time and I have a perfectly good Ovrlnd camper on my TRX. So I figured I could downsize and carry the motorcycle and keep camping out of the truck for now.
I've actually been messaging this guy. Unfortunately, I recently moved to MI and that trailer is more than I planned on spending. But we may be able to work out some trade for my 20ft enclosed. But there's still the challenge of 2,250 miles and me either paying 4x what I had planned to pay...
That sounds like what I need to do. Ideally I’d convert it to the same wheel and tire pattern as my truck so I could carry one spare. What trailer do you have?

It's only listed on Facebook. Was not eager to sell it, but won't have time to do the build I want on it for a while so I figured I'd list it and free up the $$ while I look for something I can haul my moto with behind my existing truck camper...
In fairness, my original post said I’d like to go highway speeds of 80mph. But I edited after the first comment as it was clearly derailing the core question which is a highway-able trailer.
Agree on your first point though. I may need to see what trailers can be modified with a full size car...
That's what I am looking for. Every in market trailer I can find has 13-15" tires. I can't seem to find anything that rides on a proper axle with suspension on a larger tire.
Bad drawing. But the long horizontal box is the bed rail. Short vertical block is the bar in both open and closed position. Green is the slot and red is the cut out bolt. Pretty low tech and could be made with scrap.
Based on the plate I’m assuming you are somewhere in California? I’m looking for something like this, and I currently have my 20ft Colorado trailers listed for sale locally but I just moved back to Michigan.
How does it tow at freeway speeds? Maybe I can do a road trip back west this summer...
I initially had some trouble on hard acceleration but my thicker mattress locks it in pretty good now. But I was going to make a simple latch to bolt to the unistrut (or 8020) bed slider.
Basically take a piece of bar with a slot and have it on a bolt at the channel. Have the slot off set so...
That’s the difference between a small trailer not meant for speed and one that is. My tandem axle hauler goes 80 no problem. As do other larger trailers. But the common small 4x8 utility trailers one 13” tires I wouldn’t.
I guess the exact speed isn’t as important as the fact I don’t want a...
I just picked up a husqvarna 701 enduro and would love to take it on trips with my Ram TRX and Ovrlnd camper.
I think a hatch carrier will be a bit too in the way given how often I swing out our bike rack.
So I’m thinking I’d like a small trailer, that can carry the moto, a couple eMTBs and...
Looking for ideas, guidance, or thought starters for making a larger slightly offroad capable tandem axle enclosed trailer in the 16-18ft range. I know it will never be a rock crawler and don't intend it to be. But I'd like to just get a bit more clearance because where I will be storing the...
Selling my iceco vl60d. Works great just a bit big for my build.
I just put brand new baskets in it, replaced the lid seals, the lids, hinges, and door catches. When I bought it the seals were worn out and the only way iceco would sell the latest seals was with full doors. Also have some spare...
Link below It's for a sprinter. Kind of pricey for what it is IMO. I haven't bought it yet and may try to find a different/more economical solution. Jay says they are just sheet metal screws so can be removed but don't over torque. Given it's just sheet metal screws I may consider just...
Has anyone tried unscrewing one of the roof screws? Trying to see if they are self tapped or into a rivnut on the ceiling beams.
Reason is I did not get the roof rails from the factory (should’ve but didn’t think I’d be using them). I want to use this star link mount intended for sprinters so...
I added a deflector after a few drives. It definitely helped with the noise if nothing else. Though certain wind pattern/speeds I actually get some noise from the fairing itself. I went with a cheapo one mounted to a single rhino cross bar. I'm contemplating getting a more substantial one...
