    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Thanks! OK, but you may have opened Pandora's Box, as I added some other Jeep eye candy below, as well. ;) The CJ-7 is a good one...a 1971 with under 5,800 original miles, and it just needs some TLC/love. It has the Odd-Fire Dauntless V6, T15 3-speed, and Dana 18 t-case. It should have the...

Yes, it includes the LED underlight & controller. The model #s listed on the Owner's Manual are PN#814107/814403. I just messaged you my phone number...feel free to call to discuss. Thanks, Craig

*SOLD* NEW ARB 2500 awning (with LED under-lighting)

I have an NEW ARB awning (largest size...2500mm x 2500mm) that has only been test-fit on my van once, but never actually used. It's still in its original shipping tube. On the off-chance that you'll be mounting it on a Ford Transit cargo van, I'll include some "mostly completed"...

*SOLD* Wilco Offroad Hitchswing (lightly used)...$475 (East Tennessee)

We sold our low-mileage 2019 Ford Transit last week (the vehicle this was installed on), so we don't have a need for our Wilco Hitchswing any more. It's a great little unit, and now selling new for over $860 (ouch!). I also have an extra set of Delrin bushings for it. Located in Greeneville...

    2WD Overland Thread

I have zero second thoughts about sticking with my 2WD 2019 Ford Transit. We bought for longer-term travel, and I'm glad we bought it when we did. So many people were clamoring for the new AWD Transit, or getting their 2WD Transits converted to 4WD. Not us. I'll continue to refine & equip...

Pics of your VAN! Post up!

It's still a work-in-progress, but here's our 2019 Transit (Cargo) Van that I'm working on converting for travel. The first shot is me exploring our property in East Tennessee (moving there soon). The set-up on the back carries a Pelican Case, which will be used for our camp kitchen stuff, and...

Pics of your VAN! Post up!

It has minimal use in the van, but it's the same flooring we have in our kitchen, which is holding up great. It's COREtec 8mm LVP flooring. (y) I think the biggest thing in the van is to keep it swept out regularly to reduce the "sandpaper effect' on the floor...as with any floor.

Pics of your VAN! Post up!

Here's our 2019 Ford Transit in the midst of our build-out. The fact that it's a work-in-progress isn't stopping us from using it! The second to last pic is from a camping/biking/hiking trip to the North Country Trail, and the bottom pic is on our property in East Tennessee (I'll be building a...

I'm in for updates, as well. Nice-looking work! Craig

This is almost unfair to the zombies.

Spare tire(s) were my first thought, too. It's a super cool vehicle, but not an SHTF-type vehicle due to the crazy (and expensive) tires, IMHO.

Hoping These Military ATV Rigs Will Start to Show Up In The Surplus Marketplace

Not the case here in Michigan. I built out a Jeep CJ-10a (originally an Air Force tug), and had no issues licensing it for street use. I did have to have it visually inspected prior as part of the process (not the stringent annual inspections that occur in many states).

    My 2WD F150 adventures

Amazing photos! Great exploring in a 2WD vehicle, despite that so many claim 4WD is a necessary requirement.

2019 Ford Transit van built my way. Dead simple.

Nice work with the simple approach to the van. I took a similar "different" approach to the floor on my 2019 Transit (148" MR). I filled the gaps between the ribs with 1/2" XPS foam, used 1/4" XPS on top of the ribs to level it out, and added 1/4" EZ-Cool on top of the XPS. I then installed...
