The Lunchbox 4x4 van is for sale

Man... if there was a company that made a stock pop-top or high roof for the short vans, I would jump on this. Great deal for how much work you've put in to it. You have any idea what mpg you get with that gearing and those tires?

    PRICE REDUCED 4x4 Fuso Truck

i think the rust may be the biggest issue... if you look at the sellers previous posts there is one about the extent of the rust on this vehicle. It sounds like it could be more than just sandblasting the frame and painting it w/ por15... Maybe the seller will chime in, because I agree, it's a...

    PRICE REDUCED 4x4 Fuso Truck

If I were in the position to take on a project I would certainly consider this... superb base vehicle, provided the rust can be addressed without too much hassle.

    Ursa mini Element $12k

These elements are really cool. Especially because you maintain a super functional around-town car that gets great mpg. That's a lot of miles and I'm not familiar with that engine, but if it is known to last 350k like that the seller states, seems like a solid deal.

    4x4 Ambulance - 2003 Ford Econoline E-350 Super Duty

That's awesome! Post a link to a build thread here if you ever start one. Would love to see how it turns out.

    2008 F450 Super Cab 4x4 w/ utility box - Oregon - $21k - 140k miles

Could make an interesting platform... no relation to the rig, just found it in my weekly searching. I msged them asking about the interior standing height of the rear box. It looks like there's a small chance that it may be taller than 6', which would be amazing. Copied from ad: 2008 Super Duty...

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

From what i understand, the AWDs were only produced as 2500s in the year 2003. So 2500 AWD vans are super hard to come by. I always thought that was a bit of a bummer - the GVWR on the 1500 chevy's'/150 fords is just on the low end IMO to be able to handle a build out.

    Quigley in Virginia

I emailed them and am waiting a response... not sure if it's the '94.5 + engine w/ a turbo or the pre-turbo IDI 7.3L engine. Also not quite sure why it would come with a second engine if the current one runs fine?

Anywhere we can see additional photos? What's the interior standing height w/ the high top?

Hot damn.... that looks like a deal. Wonder how many miles the body/engine has on it.

Home made earth cruiser kind of cool. $40K SF CA

That's a sweet rig. I've never driven a Fuso, but they seem like a super capable off-road vehicle. As the add says, when you compare the price for that to something like a 4x4 sprinter, you're getting a lot.

    92 F-350 Custom 7.3 Diesel 4x4,5sp Low miles

Holy hell that thing is immaculate underneath. Don't think you could find a 2017 car with a cleaner undercarriage. Nice looking rig. GLWS.

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

without knowing many details... $23k seems low IMO. A van that's only 6 years old with under 60k miles I'd guesstimate to be worth something around $15k without a 2wd conversion. 4x4 conversion and interior conversion professionally done would add some value. It might be because I'm on the west...

    NY - 1995 E350 7.3 Quigley 4x4

Yeah that looks like a pretty solid deal, not sure if those iron cross bumpers are worth it for quality vs. just for looks, but that + the 7.3L + 4x4 conversion is definitely worth that price. Of course the underbody is the million dollar question. Based on the underbody of my 2003 van from NY...

    4x4 Ambulance - 2003 Ford Econoline E-350 Super Duty

Hah! That's awesome man, congrats!! I think you got a good deal at the end of the day. Not the screaming deal that both you and I were hoping for, but a good deal none-the-less. I doubt you'd be able to find it for sale for elsewhere for any less. I think you are correct on the 12ft box. During...

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

2010 FORD E-350 Utility Truck, $16.5k, 131k miles. Just stumbled on this... never heard of rockport van boxes (in comparison to supreme and other well known manufacturers), but it would be a pretty interesting starting base... Not to mention the box already has quite a few interesting...

    EarthRoamer XV-JP "Northwest Edition"

Lookin good Paul! (it's chris from HGT). The mouse vagabonds have been a common occurrence for us as well... trying to stuff all the cracks with weather stripping & store smelly food in the roof box overnight, but they always seem to find some way in and something to snack on.

    4x4 Ambulance - 2003 Ford Econoline E-350 Super Duty

I was surreptitiously watching this auction closely, hoping that somehow it would end up sneaking by for like $8k and I could be its new owner. Selling price was decent in my opinion. 2003 was the last year of the legendary 7.3L engine and it has 160k miles, comes from a small town (meaning that...

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

Definitely not meaning to attack you with that comment - just making an observation. I own a van from NY and grew up in NC, I'm familiar with the east coast rust/rot. I also now live on the west coast and am familiar with 20yo vehicles with hardly any rust due to spending their lives in the...
