    Tire Diameter and Width Advice

With the diesel your rig 'may' be slower than with the gas engine. Do you expect mileage gains? As the 20R was last used in the early 80's, we presume the trucks to be an 81-84? Gear ratio vs tire size = engine rpm in the table below, calc'd at 65 mph without OD:

Need a little insight on trailer axles, wheels and adapters.

How do you figure? The lug holes will be controlling the strength of the bolted connection, not the hub, especially when using spacers. Using proper wheels without spacers makes the most sense. The Jeep wheels the PO intends to use are form, not function, oriented.

Need a little insight on trailer axles, wheels and adapters.

Find a machine shop to enlarge the center hub area of the rim to match the hub, then you could use a bearing buddy, too.

Need a little insight on trailer axles, wheels and adapters.

Whatever the wheel bolt pattern is, simply order your hubs accordingly. You should not need spacers. I'm not sure if your wheels use acorn nuts, but if they do, you can use them in a nut-centric arrangement.

    Wheel spacer to lift ratio?

I understand the lift part. You don't need any spacers to equip the Monty with 33- or 35-12.5 tires. Why do you want spacers?

I have some Gen 1 Montero questions

No kit needed. The CB has the carriage mounts along the side of the casing, allowing you to use the Mitsubishi mounts. The late Gen I Montero/ Raider radio console depicted will support either the two 1-DIN slot or one 2-DIN slot faceplates. I used the constant power circuit from the OE radio to...

I have some Gen 1 Montero questions

A bit out of focus, but you get the point. I have a 1-DIN radio and Cobra CB mounted up. Using the two 1-DIN slot faceplate, there are no mounting issues for clearance.

Worldwide tire sizes for 15" rim?

    31 would be a 265/70-15. A 235/75-15 is only 28 inches tall (approximately). If you're world traveling, why not switch to a 16" like a 235/85-16? Or a 17"?
