I've used my LR4 extensively offroad. What I've noticed with the TC locking is it locks first/immediately upon sensing, same goes for the rear diff. I've never run into an issue with it not locking when needed. Usually the software sensing it needs to lock well before needed.

They are the RR supercharged (3rd gen) wheels. I can't recall the offset. But I run a 1" spacer.

The removal of the front end fascia and all the various bits is pretty involved. First go around took me more than 2 days and I'm not afraid of mods.

I'm at a 166K on an '06 I bought 5K miles ago. Salt truck for me but the thing runs fantastic. Couple small issues but nothing major.
