    2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Build

I doubt your turbo was the culprit at low RPMS as they're usually not slated to kick in until over 3k. Haven't owned a turbo Subaru, but my Evo didn't pull turbo until 3500rom if memory is correct.

CA -> UT -> CO (Warning: TONS of pictures!)

Looked like a blast, pretty sure I saw you both up in the Lost Coast a little over a month ago? Or someone has a very similar set-up there.

    2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Build

Pretty good feeling that roof gear is worse than towed gear, but then again I don't know for sure. My Tepui tent drops me down to about 20-23mpg.

I just ordered some costco pad options, and we'll see if any foot the bill. I'll report back in a week or so.

Subaru owners: Let's see your expedition rigs!

Yup. The fortunate part is the tent holds the comforter, some sheets, two pillows, and two small throws. Yeah, this is quite true. I need to find some padding that I can keep up in the tent...once I solve that riddle then it's on!

Absolutely, whatever we use will likely end up traveling inside the vehicle (exception: pillows and blankets have proven fine).

No, but I do have one from brother-in-law that I might pull out (similar to the linked one earlier). Yes, comfort is very subjective and generally speaking we're more of a plushy sleeper. I'm thinking of tossing a down filled topper in the tent and just using that; although, the fill can easily...

Okay so I know that I saw this somewhere, but options for additional padding? Right now we are running two obscure sized Costco pads that work great. However, they are not really at all the appropriate size, the don't fold into the tent, and because of that they take up the entire backseat of...

Definitely not the situation I'm up against, but yes the straps commonly get stuck so check those on the Tepui.

ps: Tepui has been amazing to work with! @Yarjammer, yes it is one of the main reasons I went with them. If I have any problems I'll just drive there :)

Okay, so those offering input on the two halves matting here is some useful information from my discussions with the guys at Tepui. In short, they should always mate and you should not have to fight it. With me it is particular to the type of bars on the car. I have a Subaru Crosstrek with...

Headed up to Tepui to swap in a new zipper today :)

Thanks, but problem is that the zipper is broken in half so I can't properly close the cover. Hoping they can swap something out next week because otherwise were going to have to run ratchet straps over it, not that appealing, in the interim.
