    2000, 100 series build

1st: Awesome thread. I will subscribe for future updates. 2nd: Beautiful truck. 3rd: Lots of tires swaps.?. Didn't like the BFGs? 4th: I may be interested in your rear bumper at some point. 5th: I have dreamt of painting my 4Runner and my 100 Toyota Dune Beige for some time now.

Landcruiser (100 series) as a tow vehicle?

My situation is very similar to your design criteria. Our 2001 LC 100 with 168k is my wife's DD, a Toyota reliable, secure/safe kid hauler, Dog hauler, comfortable road trip vehicle, pack mule, etc. Now keep in mind, I LOVE LCs, but I believe it is truly a world class vehicle (far beyond the...

Who's running the BFG KO2's on their Hundy?

I just put a set of 285/75/16 KO2s on ours today (to replace the KOs of the same size that gave me 100k miles of reliable service). They are stiff. The shop put 50psi in them. I prefer a firm ride, but I plan to experiment with lower pressures. Now the 100 feels more manly, less soccer mom-ish...

Hey stranger. Are you on here anymore? I haven't logged in for a very long time. Any more updates on your plan(s)?

    NEW Offroad Casita Project

Casita Project update We finally took the Casita camping again. We went down to the FL Keys. Hardly an offroad mecca, but had an awesome time. The Casita did great. The mods I did give me a great deal of confidence in the trailer. It gets a little tight with three of us inside, but I spend as...

FS: 2009 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series - built - ARB Warn Slee

Wow. I drooled over this truck when I first saw the pics of it. I would love to own it, but way out of my league right now. Good luck with sale.

    NEW Offroad Casita Project

If the inquiry was about progress on my trailer, the sad answer is no. We haven't even been camping in over a year. I still have the Adventure 'Cita, as I call it, but I'm keeping it as a type of "bug out" vehicle, as the world economy looks scarier and scarier to me. I still dream about...

    Birth of My Kimberley Karavan

OK, I've just read all 30 pages of this thread. 1st, Beautiful trailer. My offroad Casita idea is a cheap man's attempt at a copy. 2nd, I am so envious of your adventures. I'm living vicariously thru your trips. Cheers to you. 3rd, Fantastic photos. Please keep them coming.

08 Overland JK ready to go

Nice Jeep. A lot like what I would build if I were building one, but I'm really not in the market. I think most of us are being pretty stingy with our money. I know I am. I'm not saying it's not worth your asking price, but everything will sell at the right price. Sincere GLWS.

1986 HJ61 Land Cruiser, 12H-T turbo diesel, H55F, OME lift, TJM rack, etc

Very nice. I would love to have myself. Not right now. Good luck with sale. Free bump.

    1977 FJ40 - Florida

Where in FL? What info are you using to decide it needs engine rebuilt? How much rust? What is the asking price?

    NEW Offroad Casita Project

Sadly, I haven't done anything, let alone anything fun, with the Casita since my last post. I haven't even been on ExPo for a long time. I haven't weighed the trailer so I can't answer your questions about its weight. When we get a chance to go camping, which is rare nowadays, we load it up...

    FS:4wd action DVDs

Is PAL the North America format? I wanted to buy several DVDs from Aussie, but was told that the format wouldn't work with my low end DVD player. Is that correct? Anyone know about the DVD player in my MacBook Pro?

    NEW Offroad Casita Project

I've been busy since relocating to SW FL, but finally used the Casita since lifting it and having a new baby. Didn't really take it anywhere offroad yet. Baby's first camping trip was to the beautiful campground at Fort Desoto in St Petersburg. I REALLY like the stance of the trailer now. Still...

    Toyota landcruiser 1994 fj80

Interesting truck. Interesting price. I too rememeber the article. Sort of. Do you have better pics to try and sell this vehicle with? Interior pics? I assume it is in Indianapolis?

    2003-2005 4RUNNER ARB front bumper

Jacque, Not to hijack this thread, but I'm waiting to find a 'scratch and dent' sale on 100 bumpers, ARB front and ARB (or others w/ hitch & tire carrier) for the rear. Possibly slider/steps too. Next time you have something, I've got cash, and can pickup local. Thanks, Rich

    NEW Offroad Casita Project

I got it home. I really dig it so far. Still tows great at 70 mph. No sway. Nice firm ride. May end up with spare on rear after all. Thought I needed more tongue weight. Still a work in progress. 16" of clearance at center of axle. Lowest point is now tongue jack. Trying to reengineer that...
