Wow you are wasting no time!
glad to see another Bronco build on here, hopefully one day I get mine back, been at ford for 7 weeks and counting now for the transmission
Yeah for sure. I have a manual black diamond and I'll probably go up to 255 80s at some point but no bigger so the 4.46 gears will be plenty. Loving everything about it. I had a 2001 xterra before with 235 85s and open diffs so this Is a pretty bigbupgrade
The 2dr non sasquatch badlands is a really really nice combo right from the factory. Tires aren't too big and wide and am absolute beast with the lockers and swaybars and bfg at 33s
The sound/grinding came back after barely 600 miles (1000km).
It has been back at Ford for 3 weeks and looks like at least 3 more. There is a fully formed official TSB but apparently its not fixing the issue either. Ford decided to replacement transmission again, so waiting for the the parts...
Oh yeah it's been replaced. 6 days from my appointment to driving again. Hard to complain about that.
If the issue comes back then the TSB should be fully formed by then with a fix
I have the Bronco back with the new transmission, the report from the dealer is that the transmission fluid was very dark and discoloured after 3700km.
It appears from research elsewhere there is an issue witht he 5th and 6th syncros, so i assume some interference is happening. There is a TSB...
Well not a great start
currently the bronco is in getting rhe 7MT transmission replaced. Ever since I took delivery it had rhe sounds of rocks rolling around in there, especislly when cold.
There is a lengthy thread on bronco6g with many experiencing rhe same noises. Apparently a TSB is in...
Haha give it time and maybe I can get there.
It is really comfortable on the road. Very comfortable seats snd handles well. Coukd easily drive it all day.
First dirt, if you can even call it that. Mostly just some dirt roads with one little "trail". Probsbly could have been done is 2H but I popped on 4H just because. There was a little muddy off camber section i used the rear locker, again, just because its new and I wanted too.
Hitch installed. Picked the curt. I had ordered the factory tow package but it was removed by ford so it could get built. I don't have a trailer nor do I plan on one but it would have been nice just to have it all done. It will mostly be used for bikes and recovery.
Very simple install. 4...
Believe it or not most 4 door Broncos do not have rear cupholders. If you purchase one of the upper models with the leather seat option then there is a flip down arm rest/cupholders.
The 2drs have them molded into where the door would be.
Every other trim has nothing.
IAG performance has from...
Not a lot to report just a few minor things.
The green is stunning person which may turn into a downside. It looks so good clean that I will either have to wash it all the time or learn to live with it.
Ordered a hitch for a bike rack and recovery purposes. A trunk liner as well as a drop in...
