Yes, the rear wraps will hit the tail lights if you don't build some kind of stop. On the previous page of this thread I posted a picture of one of the braces I built. I ended up building a box with 2x6s (1x6s will work also) that was open at the top so I could store 2 Rotopax gas containers...

It has various mounting options.

Did some more work on the camper today. Installed a Lagun Table Pedestal and the Northstar Overhead Cabinet.
The original table worked well but was a little wiggly. The Lagun pedestal is built like a tank and very stable.

You can see slight indentations of the camper frame in the foam, other that that, it works great. Ther camper is on the truck most of the time, so the indentations are from it being on for over a year. It also helps stop the movement of the camper in the bed.
You should a pic to Northstar and...
My vote is for Northstar. The corners sure look like what Northstar uses, here's a pic from the Northstar webpage:
I used 2" pink high density foam to raise my camper to clear the cab. It's lightweight and easy to use.
Haven't posted in a while, been out using the camper :wings:
I found that the camper shifted a bit in the bed going over rough roads and rocks. Also wanted to be able to load the camper easier, so I made a cradle for the camper. I took some 2x4s and built a frame so the camper would settle...
I know what you mean about the Rotopax expanding, once you take them off in high heat or elevation, it's almost impossible to get them back on unless you completely empty them.
I'd be interested in seeing pictures your mounting solution. What kind of brackets, plates, etc.
The articulated leg table is convenient to get in and out, also nice that the table can be positioned in many different positions. The downside is the wobble and movement when you put stuff on it. We have to be careful not to put much weight on it (like getting in and out) because it of the...
I have a 2009 F250 SB and the bed length is 6'9". The standard Chevy & Dodge SB box is 6'6". I found this out when I tried to snug my Northstar TC650 to the front of the box., it got close by did leave a gap in front. I now use that area to put my lawn chairs in. My Northstar has the wrap...
HaHa, that thought has crossed my mind. That would be real funny to some of the guys I camp with.
The stairs block the HitchGate from being closed. I think I would hear and feel someone messing with the stairs and hitch, but if they ever got it locked up, the Northstar has a built in escape...
