I just got back from the white rim. We started Friday afternoon and our timing couldn't have been any better. They opened the Shafer switchbacks just minutes after we checked in to the visitor center. The ranger that opened the gate said our group was the first one of the year to do the...
That is too funny. I'm currently shopping for a 100 and saw pics of your new cruiser last night on KSL/dealer's site. Quickly showed it to the wife this morning and then all the sudden it's no longer listed. Bummer for me- congrats to you!
Hey, I chatted with you briefly at Safari Ltd in the parking lot the other day. Did you end up finding anything good in Rabbit Valley? Love the thread, love the truck, it was really cool seeing it in person!
There should be a subforum here titled: 4x4's-real world/paid for/simple. Your...
That sounds like a good plan. In my mind I can see a fridge between buckets in the middle row but I bet in reality the dimensions are a lot less. Either way, I bet your kids will love it. Now you can have one in the way back handling fridge/snack operations.
Wow. So nice! Crazy how much the wheel spacers balance out the stance. Are you still exploring seating options for the middle row? Maybe drop your old tacoma buckets in there?
Nice touch on the handles. I'm glad you were able to swap those seats in, I'm sure that looks and feels much better! Do all the power functions work on them? Again, It was really great meeting you and your family, I don't think the cruiser could've gone to a better home!
Picked mine up from the doctor (safari ltd). Fixed my engine stalling and no start issue. Turned out to be the aftermarket alarm/wiring causing the problem. Good to go now!
Agreed to all of the above. It's so nice to have a trusted Toyota shop just a few miles away. My 80 has needed a lot of love lately and Safari has always hooked me up with the right parts.
Performed a midnight apartment parking lot brake job to fix a stuck caliper and a destroyed set of pads. Had her back in order and ready for family hauling duties in the morning. Gotta love having one vehicle...
I just put a set of Toyo Open Country AT2's on my 4runner. So far I'm pretty happy with them. There's a little more road noise than bfg's but the traction has been great with all the snow and ice we've had lately. I don't think you'll be dissapointed.
Did you get everything worked out?
That's too bad that your boot blew out on you. I always feared being in that situation, as I had lift spacers on the front of my Tundra and had to take a couple 1300 mile Minnesota to Colorado trips in it. Fortunately my boots never had any failures, but...
