Had to revive this thread since I am making my set of limb risers. I am wondering where any of you found coated uv stable cable. I couldn't find it at West Marine. I have heard of cable turning yellow after one year in the sun. Any ideas would be great.

You will need some replacement doors. Ask for pics of any rust on the door bottoms. You will see what I'm talking about.

Lucrum Automated Light System I think this is the best flip up light system I have seen. There are several versions and it can mount to many different vehicles. In addition the lights can be controlled with a joystick or hands free just like directional headlights. Great video too...

Finally got a chance to get out in the sticks. No wheelin but had a chance to do some exploration on some back and fire roads.

With all those cameras I would never have to worry about blind spots ever again. I think the camera system is a great idea and will probably give you some interesting view of obstacles as you traverse them. Your execution seems well thought out. Bravo!

Buy the warranty. I had 2 05 LR3's, one for me and the other for my wife. Hers never had any problems and we still drive it without a glitch. Mine had multiple problems, but I wheeled it a fair bit with little knowledge about what not to do while off-roading. Heck I'm still learning what...

I spoke with him last week about the Compact and Base Camp. He said he was gong to try putting them on ebay. Its a nice setup.
