    Sequoia lifted w/tires and wheels!

Hi Stom_m3, I really like your build and am trying to do a similar build on my recently purchased 2017 SR5 Sequoia. I'm installing the Icon 3" coilovers and upper control arms this week. I contacted brian@jowettperformance.com about the rear springs and King shocks. Brian got back to me...

    Birth of My Kimberley Karavan

It's been awhile since I posted an update to this thread. I'm still enjoying the Karavan and getting out as often as I can. Sadly the Kimberley Kampers business in Australia went bankrupt due to poor management in July of this year. Their doors are now closed and the assets are being...

    Birth of My Kimberley Karavan

KK is working on designing a Karavan/Cruiser body on a Mog truck. Depending on which model they use, that may handle your need to sleep 5. Stay tuned and they should announce something shortly. It would have to be a cruiser body though. No way to squeeze 5 into the compact Karavan.

I just saw this post from months ago. My apologies for not replying. Did you get the measurements you were looking for?

I don't see much 200 series here, any particular reason?

I have been towing my Kimberley Karavan with a 2004 4Runner that I have been very happy with. As the 4Runner is aging, I am looking at what my replacement vehicle will be. Sadly the 4.7 V8 is no longer an option on new 4Runners. I don't want to tow a 4000lb trailer in the mountains with a 6...

Yea, Luckily the center of gravity is very low on this trailer so it can get to some crazy angles without tipping over. It can freak you out a bit if you look i the rear view mirror. LOL

Took a short local spring trip with my son and his friends to the Mogollon Rim a couple weeks ago. A little goopy but a fun trip. Time to bring on the camping season. :-) On the way home i camped at Bartlett Lake in search of wild flowers. Sometimes to get a nice spot on the...

    Birth of My Kimberley Karavan

A KK get together next year sounds like fun to me. A 5th US Karavan is shipping to someone in NM so there will be 4 in the West. I am not sure who has the kruisers in the US but I think a couple are in Phx and one more up in Colorado.

Awesome. Yes, the back country along the North Rim is amazing and one of my favorite places to explore. I am glad you two enjoyed it. Photography is a journey of never ending education. Keep shooting and you will keep improving. :-)

Thanks for posting the link. :-) And thanks for everyone's positive comments. Yep, loving retirement and plan to focus on taking my photo skills to the next level. Not sure why but something must have changed in the photo posting process. I tried embedding the image link like I had done in...

    Birth of My Kimberley Karavan

Yep, I am loving my Karavan and have not had any major issues other than blowing off my wheels last year which was my own fault. LOL I guess the main reason I never added the charge cable from my 4Runner to the built in Anderson plug on the Karavan is I was lazy. It would add additional...

    Birth of My Kimberley Karavan

Hi Dan, My tow rig does not supply any charge to my batteries. The KK is wired with a dedicated heavy gauge charge wire with an Anderson plug but I never added a dedicated charge line to my 4Runner so I don't use it. My charge is 100% solar unless attached to shore power. In good sun...

I'll post up some pics once I get some processed. I am dealing with a sick dog now that is taking my focus. :-( The Jerry can holders were standard from KK. They work great with no problems.

    Birth of My Kimberley Karavan

Cool. Conditions were not optimal there so we only stayed one night. Spent the next two weeks in Valley of the Gods and then up in the La Sal mountains. A fun trip. Just got back home yesterday. It was a good test on how long I can stretch the water and black water capacity. Made 13 days...
