    Scrubber Blade

I like to use a that turtle wax ice spray wax to clean my windshield. It leaves a coating that helps the bug guts wash off easily. I've also used a very light mist of their spray detailer with good success, even it says not to use on windows.

    Suzuki Jimny "Expedition" Build

Or if you can find metal ones, perhaps you could have someone weld a "handle" on there to make it effectively tool-less.

    Quadrotrac

You could either use a simple pin retained by a wire, or if you want to get more complex, a locking device similar to the quick release in racing cars.

    Great to contribute.

Bah, those rental contracts are to keep them from being liable if someone drives off a cliff. I drove a Sante Fe around the Big Island, and a Mustang all around Maui. I couldn't go as fast in the dirt with the Mustang, but it still did the trick and was much more fun on the twisty pavement...

Tundra or Tacoma - future camper hauler???

Don't forget any kid will grow pretty quickly in 4 years, so backseat access and comfort needs some consideration

    New Truck Decision

If you're towing once a month, you probably don't need the diesel. The new gas engines in the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks are pretty powerful. Sure the new diesels are 800+ ft/lbs of torque, but all the new gas engines already pull as well as the older generations of diesels anyway. It won't really...

    Brakes

Another helpful hint is to turn the steering wheel to give you more room to get the breaker bar in

2012 Dodge ram 2500 headed for Europe.

Don't count out heading east from Germany either. I've driven around in the western half of Poland and some of the Czech Republic. It's beautiful there and lots of cool places to drive through. It didn't hurt that there were some ridiculously good looking girls in Poland :Wow1: For the areas...

    WeatherTech Floor Mats

I have them in my F-150. They're okay. Better coverage than regular floor mats, but they still don't fit perfectly. Also, they are more of a hard plastic material than a soft rubber. Some folks have reviewed the Husky liners as a bit better because of softer compound and deeper grooves.

Thermo fan blade design - which is best; straight or curved blade?

The curved ones are more efficient. Take a look at the fans on computer graphics cards. Those things put out crazy amounts of heat, which is why most of them have 2 or 3 fans built right on top of them.

Post pictures of your cab management ideas

I'm a flashlight lover too, but I do have to point out that it appears you have 3 seperately mounted lights all on one door. A light for each hand, plus the headlamp? :Wow1:

Also consider how often you are towing the boat... e.g. if it's twice a year, why bother with a diesel. Not worth the additional expenses.

    raptor frame controversy

Oh I wasn't bashing on the Raptor at all... I think it's great that they put that stuff in a factory truck. I'm just completely amazed by the guys ordering stuff like RPG Stage 4+ kits that haven't even taken delivery of their vehicle yet! :smiley_drive: If I already spent the extra money on...

I think it'll be fine; As long as you're not jumping the vehicle or anything crazy like that.

    raptor frame controversy

That's pretty funny and true of many Raptor owners. If you go to the Raptor forums, half the guys are talking about ditching the front/rear suspensions... And not just shocks but control arms, tie rods, glass fenders, front/rear bumpers... Pretty much everything that Ford dropped in it to make...

Next vehicle - lessons learned - help me get it right next time?

Maybe stick with a new Suburban? It seems like your only complaint is that your old one is getting long in the tooth.
