    2021 F250 Godzilla Build

Sadly that is true. I am very fortunate that my 94 Silverado lasted over 300,000 miles with only major issue being a transmission at about 100,000 miles. My 05 GMC Sierra is so far so good. Of course it is a bare bones base model. Now back to the build please and that awesome 7.3 monster motor!!

    2021 F250 Godzilla Build

I'm not so sure about that. About the only thing I could not get with the XL build and 445 CI gas engine was the 3:73 locker. If you are looking for a basic extended cab truck without all the unnecessary fluff then this can be a great bargain. I don't want to get into the "Ford is better than...

The more i research and price the more I see these Fords are not a bad buy if you don't want to go all the fancy options.

    “Real” off-road trailers…

For myself it's miles of rocky, rutted, sandy up and down Jeep two track and off the two track in the desert and mountains off the beaten path of much of the same. It is really hard to find any production "off road trailer" that is going to take a constant pounding. Here in the Western US...

    2021 F250 Godzilla Build

VERY NICE build Breden!! So all I was looking at on your truck was the pictures of the King shocks you installed. And of course I used the name of the suspension companies "component type" without having a clue to the setup other than shocks. Wow!! I have been looking at what truck to buy next...

So... We need to talk about your weight.

Right on guys this is turning into a very interesting thread. I hope it keeps going and also hope you find what you are looking for in a world travel rig. That's good to know. However I just happened to see a few of these getting fuel (I was a tanker driver for almost 20 years) and took a peak...

So... We need to talk about your weight.

This is a great thread and discussion guys!! I never considered what is the obvious here in the US. Granted I look at payload and total GVWR over "towing capacity". But a lot of manufacturers are designing this trucks for towing and not much else. Hell, I have owned pickups almost all my life...

    Chevy/GMC floor mats

They work fine on vinyl floors. Just make sure you call and ask for a few extra posts that screw into your floor. I use 2 in each mat.

Trying to get an idea as to what I can sell my 2500 Suburban 8.1L Whipple Supercharged vehicle for

As Mckey suggested look up the NADA value. And as John61ct suggested an oil analysis is a must. Let Blackstone lab know your motor specs, mileage and the fact you are selling it. This way they can give you a detailed explanation of the results. Make sure you are giving detailed pics inside and...

What is the point of the picture? Are we making in fun of the rig for sell?

So... We need to talk about your weight.

Very well said rruff. The OP and his wife have a lot to think about. There is always going to be some kind of compromise. If you have a rig like Joe917 you are going to travel in very luxurious comfort with some decent capability on mellow 2 track. OTOH if you are looking to really get off the...

So... We need to talk about your weight.

Actually only the tape measure dimensions are the same. Payload capacity and weight of vehicle are a whole bunch different and ride will suffer if not loaded to capacity. 1/2 ton trucks have an excellent payload as long as it's not exceeded. It is very important to figure out what weight you...

    Craigslist find

That's a nice base cap for a build and the price is right. Use the upper portion for sleeping and some shallow shelves for lightweight items. Then pack batteries in front and behind wheel wells. This has some cool possibilities. Decent fabrication using light and durable materials. This should...

    Chevy/GMC floor mats

And they clean up really nice!! My truck was pretty dirty so I cleaned it today. Nothing more than wear marks from my feet. Hey what do you expect from almost 9 year old mats in a daily driver!! LOL!! These also dry really quick and hold a lot of dirt and spilled drinks.

    Traction boards / aids...

I can understand for sure not to use the cheap ones on heavy rigs. My truck is a feather compared to a Humvee or Excursion. The reality is I hope to not ever need these devices to get me unstuck. I make every effort to access the trail ahead before proceeding. These overland rigs that are...

If you are an occasional camper those disposable ones are pretty nice. About 10 bucks at Walmart or Amazon.

    2021 F250 Godzilla Build

You went the right route with the Pin Top and King shocks. The Backcountry kit is not going to be as comfortable when the shocks fade after 50 miles or so of washboard. The King shocks for someone who does not race are virtually fade free.

Here you go: https://www.lloydmatsstore.com/?https://www.lloydmatsstore.com/rubbertite-floor-mats?q=design They make these for what I assume is a 2010 Express AWD. Even though it say not for final floor, just get a few extra anchors.
