breakage every 3 years... what a POS! ... kidding... 250k miles and it owes me nothing but keep plugging along with working ac until it didn't It always had a rattle in the drive belts - couldn't figure it out... I know what it was - the bolt on the bottom of the alternator broke. eventually...

back to it. when the Colorado got hit, it damaged the winch. Still arguing with my insurance company about whether or not they'll pay for it but there is no way I'll ever use it again except for parts... thus, I needed a new one. But I'll put it on here - this has some features that work...

1964 Buick Special wagon. it's not the glass top car which is pretty rare now. I was working on this car when we moved 2 years ago. Frame is done, drivetrain is done, it's 'just' bodywork now. For power, it has an LS that came out of the Denali I posted on here several years ago (6.0), trans...

say goodbye for a month or so.... and it will be a bit longer then that before I start back up on it It's going to a paint shop to make it grey. they'll knock it down to components then paint it. I'll reassemble but that won't happen until after I finish the Jeep and build Anthony's 54...

my most favoritest thing EVER! ... or not about the only spot to send the harness through the wall is here... as I said, not optimal but drilled through, then spent some quality time trying to thread the connector together.... haven't won yet.... not happy. this also shows where the computer...

awhile back I started a welder build... an update this is kind of giving up but not really. I bought a welder for the '40 I still have the system I built - but I don't completely trust it, and since the FJ40 has all sorts of electronics in it that could be toasted by a faulty charging...

Instead of useless air intakes, Quickdraw should have made a bracket to adapt the throttle pedal.... also substantially bigger - and the hole ain't great for added thrills the angle isn't the same either.... ah well.

I don't know either, it's a "I had it so I'll try it" attitude. Arguably V6 makes more heat (as it delivers more hp then a diesel) - but until I get it running, I'm running with "it should work" - for those who don't know, Cummins details what the system needs to meet manufacturer specs.... but...

    SAR JK r2.8 Cummins conversion

I'm not that smart, I'm running it in parallel - more details to come as I do it - but I'm putting the oil sensor, water temp sensor from the stocker on the new motor. The new motor has its own computer and funky display - but the dash will think the V6 is still in there. Also the speedo goes...
