You asked about this M105 build:
It was for sale on ebay a couple years back.

Awesome build!
Where are you mounting a spare tire?
"Dumb that GM changed to a metric bolt pattern and not staying with the 8 on 6.5"
You could have shared a spare with the truck.
2750 dry is a lot of trailer to start. taking off every piece not used and every bolt too will lighten the load some.
A new axle with matching rollers to the truck will drop pounds as will losing the overload springs too.
Many have dropped them lower and swapped axles.
Most tire places cringe...
The cap fits nice. The M101A2 are great sized trailers.
They can be put on a little diet and lightened some with a new axle and electric brakes.
Lose the boat anchor surge system and add a new hitch.
Nice clean condition
The new hardware looks robust compared to the original.
I guess they want the originals to wear so they can sell more parts to rebuild.
I bought an enclosed box trailer that was beat to hell and the original owner wondered why it ate tires and crab walked down the road.
I replaced everything...
I built a custom rack that mounts outside the tub so I could use a cover. It has held up well.
It holds a 7 x 7 expanded metal deck a Coleman dome tent two adults two kids and a dog.
Love the build Good choice on moving the taillights. Watch the black paint gets very hot in the sun.
Very cool flip flop spray pattern too!
Looking forward to more good ideas.
