I'm in love with the BFGoodrich All Terrain KO2.
I have in the past run a few different set of tires.
GoodYear Silent Armor
GoodYear DuraTracs
Older version of the BFGoodrich All Terrain
Toyo Open Country MT
Hankook DynaPro AT
Bridgestone Dueler AT
General Grabber AT2

I have no suggestions since I've never been. But I am curious as well. Iceland is on the top of my list of places to see and I would love to go in the summer if I can. Winter would be pretty awesome though.
Thanks Kojack.
Jeep won't be getting any attention for the next little while. Lots of stuff going on right now and apart from getting driven this build will be paused while I sort out my life. I'm hoping to get it out for some trail runs and a few snow days in deep powder. It's now my full...
Such a nice build. If I was going to build another Jeep it would be a wk like yours. Hope to get some feedback from your experience with the locker once you get to play with it.
I think you have built a really well balance jeep.
I have a question about the axles. Are you getting the axles and welding your own brackets or are the axles coming ready to go?
Thanks Little Foot
I scored a Warn M8000 from a friend of a friend that wasn't using it anymore since he sold his JK. Managed to get it installed this morning. I'm most likely going to upgrade to synthetic rope and poly rollers at some point but this will do for now.
Thanks
Got a little dirty on what was supposed to be a few hour run. Turned into a day run really fast with the wet and muddy conditions.
Jeep did well. I'm really amazed how well the tires did in these pretty bad conditions. I aired down to 15 psi and had no issues throughout the day.
Love them so far. No issues with balancing. Thank you for positive comments. Much appreciated.
Yes it is. Install was straight forward and looks like it's well made. Time will tell if it's solid.
Love where this is going. My parents used to own a grocery store and we had one of those as a delivery van. I always wanted to turn it into some kind of camping mobile.
After wasting 3 weeks trying to get the new driveshaft built locally I ordered one from Tom Woods in Utah. The local guys just kept delaying and were not getting the job done.
I ordered from Sean at Tom Woods on Monday morning, the driveshaft was built and shipped Tuesday and I received it...
Work is underway with the transfer case swap and slip yoke eliminator kit.
Now that it's all in I just have to wait for the new driveshaft and hope I can move on with other projects and leave the vibrations behind.
