    Looking at a LR3

It was called the “heavy duty package” and it comes with full size spare, trailer hitch and rear diff locker. But you just can’t go by the spare tire size since that was a separate option that many SE versions came with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Looking at a LR3

No those controls are standard on all LR3s. You have to physically climb under the vehicle and there will be wiring going into a motor in the rear differential. No wire, no locking diff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Lr3 or GX 470???

Well you open up Pandora’s box of answers here. My 2005 LR3 HSE has over 180k miles, and lots of them have been off-road all over the west. My goal each year is to keep my annual cost of repairs under $2500 per year, but some years have been painful. The LR3 is an infectious vehicle to own...

    LR3 questions

Yes, vibration dampeners. Check if there is a hitch...if it has the heavy duty package, the hitch receivable with it. Otherwise go on EBay to find one. My LR3 has it stored in left rear inside quarterpanel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    IIDTool help!!!

In the app, you can restore the original settings. When you plugged it in the first time it stores that setting. I don’t recall where the setting is to restore but I know it’s there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bluetooth and rapid charger for LR3 (and others)

FYI...for those of you who jumpered the relay that controls the cigarette lighters in your vehicles, there is a bit of an issue with the Bluetooth. Once you connect the first time it connects fine, but when you go out of range, your phone will disconnect, and then the Bluetooth adapter will shut...

Bluetooth and rapid charger for LR3 (and others)

Put mine in yesterday...works great! Plays my music well! Just have to turn up the volume a bit. Since I lost a 12 volt port, I installed a second one at rear of truck direct to battery with its own fused wiring. So cool! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cooper Discoverer ST MAXX inflation help

I have the Cooper Zeon LTZ and I have to run them about 2 lbs higher than factory...usually 38/44 takes out the sway and helps with mileage. Off-road I usually drop 5-7 lbs to around 30-32 all around. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    LR3 Tire Installation

The LR3 isn’t prone to alignment problems if the alignment is done well the first time. Only do the alignment if your tires show unusual wear pattern. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does the rep of "unreliable" still hold true?

I’m an original owner of a 2005 LR3 now at 179k, thousands of miles of which have been on many extreme off-road trails and trips. I have unfortunately broken down three times in the backcountry and have had to limp or be towed out, two times suspension and one time overheated with blown head...

Seeking Advice: How to Map Repeaters for a Trip?

http://k5ehx.net provides mapping. You can treat a route and then it will show all repeaters along the way. A little rough to learn it, but it works! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

TYT, Bao, QYT, Anytone, etc.....are these any good?

I have a Yaesu Ft-1 plus two Wouxun UV3 radios. The receivers are great on the Wouxun and they are durable. But the price is closer to $99 bucks. I love my Wouxun radios even though the Yaesu will do more cool stuff. But for simple utility and durability the UV3s are excellent Sent from my...
