"2011 four winds only 19 feet long premium condition" Warning, Rust Issues.

California has so many rust free vehicles,I can't see why anyone would settle, just wait and a similar vehicle without rust will pop up for sale.

    Weight

What about a small trailer ? You could get some weight off your truck and carry a mini bike to get you out if needed .

I think you are fine with your truck. You said you are right at gvw and under your axle ratings.

New to campers and surprised by the high prices. How come a camper is half the cost of a car?

The wiring, plumbing, cabinets and finishing still needs to be installed by hand by semi- skilled manual labor

Don't Everyone Jump On This At Once

To the truck owner. It sounds like you got caught up in building the"cool" overlander and may have overbuilt for your needs. When you get tied up emotionally in a vehicle sometimes overspending is involved. Most of the time people lose money, it is a depreciating hobby. In my life i've bought...

Looking for some confirmation - Suzuki DRZ-400?

I think if you are going to be commuting, get a small street bike. Small dual sports suck for covering boring road miles. Yes it can be done and people do it but why not get the best bike for the job.

    2003 Ford E-450 Red Cross Ambulance 2WD 7.3 89k miles $20,500 near Seattle

Price seems high. I don't get the love affair with the 7.3/4r100 combo. Stock they are kinda sluggish. I had an 02 f350 7.3/4r100 , didn't really care for it. The same combo in a built out 12-14,000# camper doesn't sound appealing.

The woman told the officer that she had been living at the site for some time, and that she was surviving off grass, moss and fresh water from a nearby river. A few campers had also given her food now and then, she said. “We now believe she knowingly chose to remain in the area over the months...

Looking for a flatbed cabover shell with cargo access

Sounds like a good plan. I think there are too many variables for companies to have in stock. I'm sure you could have a nice one built exactly the size you want, just depends on your budget.
