I would like to try this conversion on my 2003 3500. Do you know what the diffrence in axels are and has any converted the 2003 as mentioned above. I would like to mount 19.5 tires.
Thank you for your input. After talking to others I belive good maintance is a must on the new motors of all brands. For now I belive that I will go with a good clean 7.3 SD truck with 100k or less that has not be worked. I have owned 3 of these motors and no the steps to do most major repairs...
I was wondering if any one knows how the 6.0 reliability inproved on the 2006 model. I am looking at a used truck with 50K. I have a F450 4x4 2005 model that has been a great truck no problems on the turbo, fuel pump etc. We did have the computer updated runs cleaner now. I love my cummins motor...
I looked on line at Readingbody.com and did not see one in their product line. But the my local dealer sais the NC Forest service ordered one in April so it may be a special order.
The Reading truck body company will all so make bodies to fit campers. I purchased one about 10 years ago for a mobile lab that was used buy NC State University in our field research. It was veru well built.
Thanks for the advice. The up grades are for my bennifit not hoping for a profit. I think it will be easier to just up fit my F350 single axel, it has about 125k on it with the 5.4 motor in good condition.
Hey folks.
I have been reading on the forum for about a year, and have only had the chance to post once. I am looking at a 2004 super charged CC cab, Frointer that is for sale locally. I would like to add a small lift and bumpers and try to resale. What is a good price and what would you all...
Thanks for the confirmation on the cost. I have a F350 single axel all ready, it is not diesel though, but is a very good truck. For the cost I have researched I can do a lot of up fitting on the Ford. Thank you Bill.
