Has anyone changed all three seats in the front row to more comfy ones. Have seen the driver and passenger upgrades but keen to see the middle one done.
Yep. That's the one. Just ordered a new one through Mitsubishi. Sure is hard getting in and out. Had a salad roll for lunch instead of a pie so that might assist as well!
I fell out of my truck last night holding onto the interior grab bar. It just snapped. Anyone else experienced the same thing? It's a 2008 fg649. I noticed the new canter has a more solid one piece bar.
My winch has come in very handy. Had to pull 8 pallets of sandstone up a clients driveway. Nothing off road yet. Only down side was at the start of the year we were invited to the tennis and I thought I'd treat my wife and drive in style (in the truck). We parked in a shopping centre car park...
Thanks john for returning my call the other day. I greased those parabolics and the squeak has gone. Saw one of your dual cab canters on the road today towing a big van, whole family in the truck looking happy.
I will contact the solar guys as soon as I have this box on the truck. Great help...
Great. Thanks for your help. I managed to find the blue handled ones and I've been told they are load rated to 500kg. We will put it to the test hopefully.
Ben.
Hi again,
I am also looking for a supplier and installer of battery and solar for this box i am building. Any suggestions for the Brisbane/South East QLD area? I visited a franchise shop today and they were very unhelpful.
Thanks
Ben.
I am building a slide on box for my fg649 and am stuggling to find a supplier for a heavy duty tie down latch. It needs to be quick release for taking the box off and on. I have had a look for over centre fasteners and toggle type latches. Can anyone suggest a supplier of these?
Ben.
That story sounds so familiar. My wife said to keep dreaming so I did then one day she saw something different about my truck. In the beginning I said we will just do one thing but that quickly multiplied to air compressor paraboloics wheels and a towbar modification. Just waiting for...
I remember the silver cobbler tasting ok with a big side of chips and sauce!
How's the truck traveling? I showed my wife the pics yesterday and she loves them too.
Gday Stu. Great photos again. Lake Argyle is brilliant. We met some people while we were travelling and they took us out on a tinny on lake argyle. We headed off in the afternoon, went jumping off rocks, tried wakeboarding (not a good idea to start learning after a few beers), almost got lost...
Can anyone suggest a mechanic familiar with canters for the Brisbane/south east Qld area? Looking for someone to do regular servicing who knows what they are doing and can look after the truck.
