    High Mileage Pentastar JKs?

I have a 2015 JKUR with 160,000 miles. Only real issue was a worn rocker/cam shaft which was replaced at 130,000 miles. The other issue was the oil cooler started leaking but was replaced. Have just done regular maintenance and oil changes and replaced parts before they wore out. I purchased...

    Anyone having issues with KO2's?

This has been my experience. First set of BFG KO2's(35x12.5x17) on my JKUR lasted approximately 2.5 years and almost 80,000 miles of mostly road wear. I religiously rotated them every 5000 miles and seldom needed to rebalance them. I recently(last 6 months) purchased a new set of the same...

Rhinorack Pioneer/Backbone system with RTT on JKUR experience?

Thanks again for the responses. I'm so fickle. I almost pulled the trigger on an Autohome Columbus Variant but keep going back to a J30. I know I could switch the RTT to another vehicle or take it off whenever I didn't want it up there but man the J30 keeps calling my name. Keep thinking...

Rhinorack Pioneer/Backbone system with RTT on JKUR experience?

I don't know if this is the correct place for this question. I posted a thread last week about long term viability of a high mileage JKUR(136,000 miles and counting) and the possible purchase of a Ursa Minor J30. This is kind of along the same lines but different. Does anyone have any...

    Long term JKUR

Thanks for all the responses. I plan on keeping it until it's just no longer reliable and is denied. I'll most likely hold off on the J30 as I'm having a hard time convincing myself to spend that amount of money on a vehicle with so many miles.

    Long term JKUR

I see people who keep Toyotas running for decades(Landcruisers, Forerunners, Tacomas) and lots of miles. Would like to do similar with the Jeep. I've never kept a vehicle for longer than about 10 years in the past. With the cost of a new vehicle now days and all the modifications I have on my...

    Long term JKUR

Basically it covers the drivetrain, most electrical components, ecm, a/c, etc. The warranty expiration is 998,000 miles or 2098 whichever comes first. Lol. I'm sure at some point they(FCA) will refuse to pay for something, but it hasn't happened yet. The cam shafts and lifters were replaced...

    Long term JKUR

I've been pondering this for awhile now but would like to hear some other's opinions. I have a 2015 JKUR Hardrock edition which I absolutely love and have modified it up to this point just how I want. I purchased the Jeep new and also purchased the lifetime Mopar extended warranty. The Jeep...

    4xFish 2014 JKUR Build

It's going to be more of a expedition style for backcountry camping, fishing, hunting, and extended cross country trips like Alaska and back. I'll do dirt roads, some trails, but in the end it is still my daily driver(about 90 miles round trip per day). I'll keep the stock bumpers. I think...

    4xFish 2014 JKUR Build

Your new jku looks great? Do you mind if I ask you a couple question? Is the silver JKU with the two kayaks your old one with the 2.5 inch lift? If so, what size tires were u running in that picture? How do you like the 3.5 inch lift vs the 2.5 inch lift? I'm trying to decide which to...
