I will be selling mine come spring (or sooner if interest) for a lot less then that. Its not as clean but its in great shape....Its a high top van built out 4x4 7.3 powerstroke.

I have a factory high output replacement alternator if you need it. Use a meter and test your output on the batteries while its off and also running. Sounds a bit high to me.

They do have nice features (I am a Ford fan) but your thread is filled with dislike for the entire truck it seemed? Maybe it was the frustration of a motor compiled with the normal vehicle issues that made it seem that way. The 5.0 is a very stout motor.
