Thank you for the complement. The steelies we're ok. I didn't love the look and they were heavy so I ultimately decided to put them up on Craigslist. I'm undecided on my next wheel choice. I would love to find a used set of Hutchinson Bead Locks - they come up for sale from time to time. That...
I had a chance to drive Tin Cup as well as the route through the Rocky Mountain National Forest (a challenge at altitude with my V6 and a camper in tow...we DID IT THOUGH!)
I spent a total of two weeks in Moab, and would consider it the pinnacle of the trip. Adam and I came up with this back door entrance to White Wash Sand Dunes which was without question the coolest overland route I've ever been on! Made a few new friends as well. :-)
I'm getting out of order here. Before heading to Aspen, my friend Adam and I did some wheeling in Idaho Springs. Adam blew a diff in a difficult rock garden and we had a hell of a time getting out. Winching for hours and then airing down to 12psi and sending it in 2WD finally did the trick...
From Buena Vista I left for Durango for the work week and then made my voyage to Moab! (I found it very hard to find free camping in Durango. This picture was taken very near my campsite.)
I then drove down to Buena Vista for a few days. I found the scenery beautiful and the town warm and welcoming. Not a big place but a fun outdoor getaway. The kayak park in town was pretty epic. Fun mountain bike trails as well. The old truck and Airstream was an art exhibit very near my...
I spent a couple of weeks bouncing around Breckenridge/Dillon/Frisco/Silverthorne as well as a few nights up on Boreas Pass. At one point, I had to bring the 4Runner in for a wheel bearing replacement and had a Tinder date lined up the same night. My bud Alex loaned me his Scout so I didn't have...
Here are some of my favorite photos from my 2015 Four Corners Tour. These pics were from our drive through the Maroon Bells National Forest from Aspen to Crested Butte. My 4Runner did great.
Dear reader,
I've decided to take the truck off the market. The circle of friends I've made through owning this truck, the incredible times I've had and places I've seen, and lastly the condition and driveability of the truck itself are worth way more than the $16k cash I was hoping to get with...
I made a video for those that are interested but unable to see the truck in person due to geographical limitations.

This 2004 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition was purchased by the seller in 2013. It has been professionally modified for off-pavement use and has approximately 132,000 miles on the odometer. The truck runs great and feels solid on the road, and performs exceptionally well in the dirt. It is sold with...
I just finished a two month trip from Burlington, Vermont to Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and back. I'm going to post up pictures over the Thanksgiving holiday. :-) Be safe!
I've ridden in this truck and have a few adventures under my belt with Brandon. The open bed is really handy for hauling camping gear. I can picture this truck living at a beach house on Nantucket but that's just me. [emoji3]

Yeah I'm pretty sure. When I did the regear I looked up the factory gear ratio by the VIN number. Don't take my word for it though. I would run your own VIN to confirm your ratio.

I was driving through Essex, VT and decided to take an important business call while driving. It was one of my clients and during the call I ended up securing additional work. Just as we were closing the conversation and the deal, I see blue police lights in my rear view mirror. "Excuse me sir...
