As everyone else has said, great looking vehicle with obvious attention to details.
Given the sliding nature of the top, how does it do in below freezing temps?
for example, what could you reasonably keep the inside temp at if the outside temp was 20F? How about performance when -10F
Thanks much
Very interesting option. Thanks for posting that
I keep getting reminded that “I don’t know, what I don’t know”
outfit I Minneapolis is called camperlogic
https://camperlogic.com/
i haven’t been there yet
with the ER quality was never the question for me. It is more about how many of my boxes does it check
if workmanship was the only criteria I would just go buy a Bentley or Rolls Royce. But unfortunately they don’t satisfy some of the other needs :)
I know whatever the choice, I will learn where I went wrong. So to minimize that I am taking a deliberate approach. Ask, look, learn. The custom built is definitely in the running.
there is an outfit in Minneapolis that is on my way home. Gonna see if they are still building and stop by on...
Taking this slow and steady.
reading another thread I saw someone saw insurance was about $5000/yr for comprehensive
does that match with others experience?
No relation to seller. But seemed like a decent option.

Here is the mount for my front receiver. bolts directly to the frame With 8 bolts. Pretty beefy! The side pull could be a concern, but a couple snatch blocks keeps everything centered even if the anchor isn’t.
Also, please tell me why a 175amp connector isn’t enough?

I cant thank you enough for your first hand information. This was EXACTLY the information I was in search of.
The maintenance costs were great to know and the info on tires/wheels are something you just can’t get until you own one.
also great to know about the temps. Funny you...
Looking at the LTS. There is a nice pre-owned on the ER website. Right now I am trying to pair down the trappings of everyday life to fit a Roamer lifestyle. Trying to figure out if 3 bikes, SCUBA gear and a few pairs of skis can fit. Looked in to “bulletproofing” the engine and seems like $...
this is what I did to my rig. i installed a new mount that attaches to the frame. The mount had a welded 2’ receiver on it so it is as strong as the frame. Then purchased a portable mount for the winch. I’ve used it a few times and have had no worries about strength. Mind you, I haven’t...
Did you look at the Sylvan models? I know nothing of them but I think they have several options and modular components. I see them for sale used occasionally.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts but I am still looking for answers to my original questions if anyone is able to provide.
My situation is fairly unique in that my job is as a Expert Witness for OSHA (not employed by OSHA just industrial safety accidents, self employed) related events in...
Ok, this is not a “can I do it question”
I might have a significant life change very soon and I have a few questions about living in an Earthroamer full time.
I am able, in fact required to travel, for my job and can also locate my self just about anywhere. I don’t want to be tied down by a...
