Supertramp Flagship LT pop-up slide-in pickup camper

Anybody here moved from a fully built Van (Sprinter, Transit,…) to a Supertramp? Trying to measure pros and cons between both. I know the theory but would love to hear actual feedback from real world use.

Supertramp Flagship LT pop-up slide-in pickup camper

The solar system is vastly undersized, for 2 people working on PCs with a starlink running + fridge, fan, lights… If you are reading this Supertramp there is no way I would consider it without at least double the solar output. 400Ah is ok though. It’s a little absurd to offer 400Ah but only...

8L90 yes. What issue are you having? At least there is less torque to handle in the midsize

The manual for the Tacoma got released. https://assets.sia.toyota.com/publications/en/om-s/OM04041U/pdf/OM04041U.pdf?_gl=1*uhwrb8*_tmna_ga*MjI1NTYyOTM4LjE3MDI0MTc3MDE.*_tmna_ga_EP43E5EFVZ*MTcwMjQxNzcwMS4xLjEuMTcwMjQxNzc0NC4xNy4wLjA. A basic TRD offroad has 1200 payload. That’s without any off...

I agree. The ZR2 is 50K FULLY loaded without shipping which is an amazing deal considering a TRD Offroad with the same tech is 53.5K without shipping, but that’s comparing a top off road trim including skid plates, side bars, dual locker, mid travel suspension with a base off road trim that has...

The Tacoma build and price is live: https://www.toyota.com/configurator/build/step/model/year/2024/series/tacoma/?bap_guid=30059ee1-91e3-40f8-952d-3a31803add6f Is this the joke of the decade? A TRD off road loaded with the best premium package is $55K. This is without the hybrid engine. So for...

Yes. Number 2 has been done, and they cut the time to build it by 80% compared to number 1. They are saying that they are going to build about 30 in a month (1 per day) while experimenting fastest operating procedure, then ramping up to about 100 a month. They expect to build all the current...

Apparently the hinge manufacturer had another delay and it is supposed to ship this Friday. I could be wrong but I think they are now waiting on having the hinges in hand before they finalize orders. They just posted a video update today:

Hey! I already posted my in person feedback on the camper on page 2 if you want to have a look. The very few complaints I listed were addressed for the production model so I am really happy about that. It is indeed coming together pretty well. What was holding up production was the hinges but...

After reading the last few messages I just wanted to give my 2 cents, as an ambassador I am part of the group chat that Roam.wild mentioned. A few pages ago on this thread Roam.wild said Kyle didn’t care about customers leaving, it’s simply not true. The thing Kyle said on the chat was that he...

New Tacoma vs Colorado vs Ranger

I have a 4D Badlands with Sasquatch and Lux package and hardtop. 16K miles already including a ton of road trips and offroad. I would not change a thing with the options. Using the Lux features everyday, and Sasquatch is an absolute no brainer to get 35s, proper gearing, strong axle etc. The...

My bronco has 4Auto and it works wonders in snow. Don’t have to switch ten times between 2wd and 4wd when going skiing and moving on smaller and larger roads which some of them are plowed some not. Both the ZR2 and Raptor have 4A. Toyota does not, and that’s a big minus.

I hate the look of it (this is very subjective) and the fact that the payload is not good are why I eliminated it already.

The Bison was revealed yesterday. It’s an absolute joke. Let me explain: - they stick 35s on the ZR2 which is awesome but they didn’t change the gearing, so you can just buy a ZR2 and throw 35s for cheaper - they throw a 0.5in spacer lift which you can do for $200 on your ZR2 - they throw...

New Tacoma vs Colorado vs Ranger

Fully loaded is a requirement. My overland vehicle is my daily drive (work from home) and I want the comfort and tech features. As for dual lockers etc at the end of the day my requirement is to get me where I want easily. Yesterday I came back from a backpacking trip. 2 hours of dirt road to...
