    Off Grid Expedition build!

Let me know when they make it to Arizona, I'd love to look at them! My email is chad manz at hotmail dot com. The blue scene/wrap is just awesome.

1995 Range Rover SWB Offroad Mods Potential Investment

Those bumpers are nice. Only bad thing for the SG is you have to cut off your stock Class III factory receiver. But SG got the look right, I'll give 'em that.

2014 Socal Teardrop Trailer For Sale

I just rented one very similar to this one. Before that, I had never considered towing a trailer for camping or off-roading. But after staying dry in the rain and sleeping as good as I do at home in a SoCal Krawler, I would very much consider getting one. I think SoCal builds the nicest looking...

    WTB: Aluminum Recovery Hitch

Not designed for anything but towing. DO NOT use a ball mount for any type of recovery. Ever. It has an extremely high probability of failure in that circumstance and damage and injuries are highly likely.

    RRC Bottle Jack

I've never seen a plastic housing genuine Land Rover jack or any vehicle jack made of plastic. I have to call bull**** on that statement.

    RRC Bottle Jack

Yes, expect them to leak if they aren't stored vertical. And the hydraulic fluid in them is not easy to clean up if it sits for any amount of time beyond a few hours. I can't get it out of my concrete in my shed.

    RRC Bottle Jack

Expanding foam, yeah, great idea. Good luck with that. Post photos because that'll be a mess. If you want the styrofoam piece, I have two extra. They include the wheel chocks too. Happy to sell and ship.

    RRC Bottle Jack

They're all the same. Work the same, lift the same.

    Spares

Would help to know what model. If it's a RRC or D1 I would suggest fuel pump, all belts, alternator and a bag of relays and an ECU.

    2014 So-Cal Teardrops 459 Krawler

For bedding on an towable, I'd get an OnPurple.com mattress in the size that fits. Adds some weight but I've never slept better. I don't get hot like I used to or toss and turn. Worth the weight/price by far.

OPINION: Single or dual ARB compressor

My dual ARB w/ the tank in the plastic case hasn't run hot yet when airing up 4 BFG KM2 from 14PSI to 38PSI.

How often do RRC's need head gaskets replaced

I've only had the head gaskets done on my 1991 RRC one time around the 225,000 mile mark. 250,000+ miles and going strong.

    RRC Ignition Coil Specs

Install an MSD Blaster 2 coil and you'll never be happier. Stock coils aren't great. You'll have a smoother engine running the MSD Blaster 2. I've been running one for the past 16 years and I'm up to 250,000+ miles on my 1991 RRC Hunter.

Looking for a random nylon/plastic bit in the lower tailgate

I have a 1991 Hunter for parts (personal spare parts). That part isn't really unique to the Hunter, any 1990, 1991, 1992 and perhaps 1987-1989 and 1993-1994 should have that same part. And I have two tailgates I can get the part from. Call me in the morning between 7 and 9AM PDT and we can talk...

Range Rover Classic Vertical Vents Grille

My vertical grill with the twin spot lights has arrived from the UK. I have some advice for you if you're going to move ahead with your prototype. You have my number, please call me.

Range Rover Classic Vertical Vents Grille

I'm thinking your idea might work even better than an original for my 1991 Range Rover Hunter.

How's the grille project coming along?

Range Rover Classic Vertical Vents Grille

I say move the lights inside the slats higher or the transmission cooler might get in the way. If you can match the curve of the front of the vehicle then I might want one too. I would want to install a set of TruckLite 4.5" LEDs in the middle. This style would actually work better for me as my...

Wanting to buy a RRC soon. What to look for

Best models: 1. 1991 Hunter (no sunroof, no sway bars, no ABS, cloth manual seats (sunroof was an option), only 500 made, best one to build into an off-roader 2. 1992 Base Model (no sway bars, no ABS), rare, should not have a sticker on the tailgate indicating model 3. 1989 First year of 3.9L...
