This was my setup in FJ Cruiser with floor mounted RAM mount. I now have an iPad mini in my 4Runner mounted to dash with magnet, using GAIA GPS for offline maps.

If you have to keep your teardrop stored outside (like I do), I found a relatively inexpensive cover that appears to be well made and just might hold up in harsh desert weather.

Just finished a portable on-demand hot water (shower) system...just in time for fall adventures. Heater connects to my on-board, 30 gal-water system and propane tank. Works on demand so only heats when water flows through the system. (Can carry an additional 20 gals of water in jerry cans).

As far as preventing pump damage from freezing water expanding, the T-line I installed has done the trick so far (I don't disconnect the pump input line).
A sight gauge to determine on board water tank level would be awesome!
Here's a mod I added to my 2012 AT Teardrop...a drain to the on-board water system to prevent pump damage due to freezing. Added benefit is that I now have instant access to water without attaching the hose.
