phillps can work, but you want one that fits tight. it can be done without taking out the radiator. use a pick, clean the crosshead very well. take a tight fitting phillips bit (not screwdriver, a bit for a driver) and put it in. wrap it four or five times in rapid succession with the side...

i had a 2.5" ome with 255s and rubbed hard even when just flying out of a parking lot. went 4" slees and was happy. now run 315 duratracs on the 4" and have some rubbing against the frame, and i flex it pretty good. i don't know if the omes were just that worn that they allowed a smaller tire...

ditto on the rollcage. the jump seats would suck to sit in with the crossbars there. also the running boards are funky. as a woman who works on cruisers, i never assume jeep guys know much about their rigs either ;)

i was walking around all day friday and never saw anyone putting down gravel and straw until i saw the tractor dumping in the field before the pedestrian bridge on saturday late morning. the only time i saw the tractor on friday was outside the pizzeria when a portion of the building next to it...

so there will be no museum for cruiserfest? that's part of the allure is checking out the sexy eye candy!
