    The official TRIARII build

Sleeved block! Whoa, should be pretty bulletproof! Great work on the truck, color me impressed.

    LR3/4 Steering Vibration issue

I would replace everything, there is no reason not to, you are going to need to align it no matter what. I can remember the popular tool for separating ball joints simply didn't fit the tie rods on the LR4. I had a braking issue on my LR4 with some vibration under braking and the passenger...

    CB radio install location?

What about putting it in the center console? You'd have to add a remote speaker but that's not so difficult...

    Rubicon by Rover

Really impressed you took the LR3 down the rubicon! Great report, you've 100% convinced me that to use OE bushings in the rear UCA's. After reading your report I'm 100% sure I'll never run that trail in a modern rover... Thanks for doing it just so we can all say it's technically possible though!

    Feeler: 2008 LR3 HSE

    On the road help!

Good tip, I trimmed it up so its not touching the paint last night, but that was in the dark so I'll check again... Other news, getting glass replaced in SLC tomorrow for $443, better than I thought it was going to be... They could not tell me the brand of glass I was getting, but right now...

    On the road help!

The gorilla tape is pretty stout, I washed the truck last night after I rinsed my bike off and there was no water intrusion. My concern is the now complete lack of security, our camera gear, fridge, well, basically a huge % of the expensive stuff I own is living back there for the time being...

    On the road help!

Thanks for the heads up, I'm gonna try a few glass shops too... Just want to get back on the road and onto vacation ASAP. I'll have to say my tape job looks pretty good now that I trimmed it up.... Can barely tell [emoji16] Lesson learned regarding the bike and gravel roads... Gonna move my...

    On the road help!

Had a rock bounce off my bike and shatter my rear glass about an hour ago. I'm in Farmington, New Mexico, headed up to Bozeman, MT. Anybody have a glass shop or rover dealer to recommend? I'm willing to travel a little out of my way...

    May Long-weekend Circle Tour

Great trip report! Thanks for sharing, so cool what you can get to close to home. On another note I'm going to have to give my wife a hard time as she wouldn't leave the pavement while pregnant with our son! Your fiancé is a trooper!

    Alu-Box Help

I took the cruiser outfitters suggestion and used nylon standoffs to make sure the bottom of the case did not deform when tightening it down, and used wing nuts to secure the box on top of lock washers. I've got a frontrunner rack so install and removal is super easy, and it needed to be as I'm...

COOPER DISCOVERER - The Wild West with My 8 Year Old and Friends

Cooper Discoverer - A Big Bend Tale

The time of year for sure. I've never stayed in the chisos campground, however I have done the window view hike starting from it (saves a couple hundred vertical feet and we were driving to it anyway) but it has always been full. BBNP is 100% better in the dispersed Camping overland style, I...

Cooper Discoverer - A Big Bend Tale

Nice write up, looks like you had a great experience. I've yet to visit the state park but big bend is for sure my favorite national park. The best campsite in BBNP is twisted shoe. Great view of the chisos looking north...

    LR3/4 Steering Vibration issue

Resolution! After replacing inner and outer tie rods (that had no distinguishable play) I now have no vibration from the steering wheel after my alignment today. I noticed on the alignment report the camber on the front is now within spec on the driver front and there is more camber on the...

    Project Victory_Overland 08 LR3 Build Thread!

Do they? Not having vent seats in these trucks is a bummer... Been wondering if there is something I can do about the heat from the seats on long drives... Full set of covers us only $519 plus freight...

    Alu-Box Help

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I should have looked at the case a little more, I was so fixed on popping the black plastic on the latch that I never thought to look at the side of the latch. I was thinking of securing it directly to the roof rack via drilling through the bottom? I like the...

    GXV Patagonia on Volvo chassis

Truly a crazy build... Hydraulically driven front axle, GTFO! To me it's large, but then again I am not full timing or even spending more than 3-10 nights on a trip. Impressive what GXV can do with a truck. Would love to see more of those out and about versus the class A stuff. Wonder what the...
