I need some input from Jeep Wrangler owners. My 98 Discovery is getting up there in mileage and I don’t feel comfortable relying on it to get me were I want to go and back home. I’m talking trips of 700-800 miles or more. I’ll keep the Discovery and will always have a Land Rover in the stable...
I too am considering a Tacoma Double Cab as a new daily driver. I’d soon like to retire the ’98 Discovery (172,xxx miles) to weekend driver status. I’m wondering about any changes that Toyota might have in the pipeline. Maybe someone here knows of body changes or mechanical changes or maybe...
Not sure if these are the caliber shots you are looking for but here are a few. All taken with a cheapo digital Canon camera (I’m hard on small electronic gizmos, I believe in KISS). Photos were taken in Southwest Missouri. Incredible photographs posted here. I’m loving it.
Thanks...
Just got back from the mailbox…
Good looking 110 on the front cover. Questionable way they have the canoe and other stuff secured to the top. I guess for a photo shoot its fine… just wouldn’t want to travel too far with my boat tied thru the passenger compartment.

Thanks for the tip. It looks like there has been a price jump to $39.00 as of 01/08/09 - 12:30pm CST. Still a great deal, I just got back from my local Pep Boys where the same light set was $74.00. A couple set of these will soon adorn my LR roof rack.
Hey Frans,
Good to see you pulled the trigger on a Series truck. Congrats, I’m sure you’ll love owning such a great vehicle. I still have the photo you sent me called “Beeson Grapes” set as the wallpaper on my desktop. Hope all is well in your part of the world. Have a great holiday.

Yep, tubeless Wolf rims. I didn’t realize how heavy duty these things were until I received them. Center steel in the wheel is 1/4in. thick or better.

Doug,
Beautiful 110 P.U. on your website. Question… RHD or LHD? Any additional photos?

Great thread and even better pictures…
Here’s my wife and I escaping the church and heading to our reception last December.
She was a bit surprised at the mode of transport. She was thinking stretched limo or perhaps classy old Rolls…
HECK NO – Defender 110
