    Quick Shelves for Camp Kitchen

You can also do something similar with wire no bracket needed. Just hang them the secret is getting the proper angle and using a clasp to hold it. You can hang them from roof racks.

    Folding table ideas

I went a different way and made a hanging table. I like it because it is extremely stable, can be leveled easily if you use staps, and can be set to nearly any height. Mine stores super nicely in my Habitat, the walls have rug material which sticks to Velcro extremely well. I put 2 strips of...

Thanks! I am just putting together a small repair kit. I will add them to the kit. I found them here: https://www.skdtac.com/ITW-G-Hook-p/itw.213.htm Amazon has free shipping but double the price so cost is the same.

    AT Tacoma Habitat: Official Thread

    AT Habitat camping modifications

It has 2 struts that attach to the truck they don't go to the ground. Hinges are built to handle the load. There is some movement but it doesn't bother me at all, some people don't like it and put a stabilizer jack under the hitch.

    AT Habitat camping modifications

Not sure if this is the correct forum, but thought I would post this here since it is AT Habitat specific. I made a screen for the rear of my Habitat and included a photo of it, its made with no seeum mesh and has a magnet closure. I secured it along the edges with heavy duty velcro and on the...

Mean Green Alternator For First Gen Tacoma?

I have a dual battery with IBS a installed. I ordered a DC power alternator for my Gen 1, before I read about the cracked alternator bracket issue. I asked DC power about it and they confirmed there were issues, so they have redesigned the case. That appears to have taken care of the issue...

    Deallings with Outfitter

This is probably not the best forum to air your grievances, the dealer has no chance to respond. There really is not enough information for anyone to make a judgement. This is probably better handled with the Better Business Bureau. Just a suggestion.

    AT Tacoma Habitat: Official Thread

I got a loan through my Credit Union my Truck is paid off so I obtained a loan against it. That gave me the best rate I think it is less than 4%, secured loans have the best rates. Also excellent credit helps keep the rates down.

    expedition Table

Guilty as charged, definitely not high tech mostly scrap material. I did get a scrap piece of laminate for free that's as high tech as it gets, so maybe it was all total $5.

    Percolator coffee pot

I am a big Aeropress fan. I like it much better than a french press because it is a snap to clean and no sludge at the bottom of my coffee. The grounds just pop out. Makes an amazing cup of coffee, packs tiny, unbreakable.

I use Tear Aid or Tenacious Tape for minor field repairs on my tents. Works well, lasts a long time, and leaves no residue. I wonder how it works on the teflon impregnated material?
