Now that is absolutely outstanding. How long did it take/need any specialist kit to build? You may have inspired me for my next project. Looks like you've kept the original instrument housing? Not sure about all that chequer plate, looks like the inside of a kit kat :D:

Your stuff looks good mate. Don't get me wrong, it's clearly well made and looks lovely but who are these products targeted at and what is your unique selling point? I personally think that remaking something that already exists, even if you've given it a nice coating and saved a few grams...

    What's in your Kitchen Box?

MSR dragon fly, jet boil, MSR alpine cook set, Titan pot set, one of my mums old frying pans. Works a treat. Dragon fly for most of the cooking, jet boil for getting a brew on quickly.

    Tire decision block!

I have BFG ATs on my Defender. I've taken them through snow in scotland and deep mud in devon, plus all the motorway driving in-between. Can't fault them. Theres a solid second hand market for BFGs here in England (got a brand new one the other day for £20), not sure whats its like else where.

    Fire Extinguisher placement

Have mine between front seats and one in the back. Good point on potential for becoming a flying missile. Would also install one in the back.

Help with my multi battery setup

I use dual Odyssey PC1500 batteries with a nation luna split charge kit. The controller lets you switch between the batteries in parallel or in series without having to rewire anything. The aux circuit outputs to a disco fuse box and everything runs off that. Both circuits have marine isolator...
