Knock on wood, I've had zero issues, and I've never heard of issues with rattles. Problems I don't have. Hope my luck doesn't run out. I've heard bad things about 3rd gen's though, I'd stay away from that era. I've also heard 2010-203 will most likely need most of the front suspension replaced...
I tell that to everyone. Your needs should dictate your build. A lot of guys run out and start throwing on tires and lifts without even knowing what their truck is capable of stock. Or what their mission/use will be.
I've done a lot of things in a stock wagon on 33's you might have thought only...
My friend Marcus is the one who makes, them. He has about 5 in production now I think he was telling me.
You can email him directly at: sales@dethloffmfg.com

The standard bed rack is being built. He's been building these as an order by order...
I dunno, the SXS's are getting worse every year. Especially with rentals. And my time out in Moab, I see them doing the most damage going off trail routinely becuase they get impatient waiting behind slower larger rigs. Worse, when it's wet, becuase they're open they like to go around puddles...
If you want to ask other PW owners, and not random Ford dudes, you can find some of us here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/offroadpowerwagon/
Good luck in your shopping.
Doesn't your signature say you have an F250 ??
Tell us more about what frame mounted sliders cannot handle...
I abuse my truck, organize and event for Power Wagon owners, and hate when you see some dude spouting nonsense in a thread. But it looked like you might of been swayed by that...
The other interesting place I've seen them put is in front of the radiator behind the front grille, with them plumbed either down to the bumper or just through the grille itself. Seen a few 3rd gens that way. I thought about it, but I'd have to fabricate a whole bracket up. And I'm not sure...
I do sort of, have a hybrid setup. It's not onboard air per say. I need to get some pictures.
I'm using two ViaAir 400p compressors and mounted them to a piece of plywood that is cut to perfectly fit in the back of my RamBox.
I store two air hoses underneath them. And both are wired together...
Did a little adventurering this weekend with some local guys. Great bunch of guys, some awesome rigs.
Also just published part 2 of my Rocklander Build videos, discussing all the mods on the truck.
Have fun when those bend into your door or tear off your Power Wagon if you attempt any real wheeling. I don't know anyone who runs Randy Ellis sliders. Those are not real sliders. They are POSER sliders.
Congrats on being the first guy other than Randy.
So, I've started a video series on our build.
The first video is up, detailing why we chose the Power Wagon. Working on the next video going over our mods to our truck, some of my thoughts on the parts. And the third video will detail our overlanding/camp setup. And the fourth one, I plan on...
Sorry. But at this point right now, we have so many Power Wagons registered, it's just easier to stay a PW only event. There are additional spotting concerns with diesels that if you're not heavily modified, pose additional challenges and slow downs to the group.
For starters, the Power Wagon...
Thank you, I try. Haven't done any updates lately. I too haven't had FB for years, I sucumbed only to stay in contact with the other groups that use group pages on there.
Thanks man!
