It’s a Honda CT70 or Trail 70. Made 69-82 then again for a few years in the early 90s. Throw a $300 88cc kit on it and you can cruise at about 50mph. Oh and you can register them as they are street legal. Perfect little bike for around the campsite, down to the fishing hole, or running into town...

Thanks for the recommendation! Was planning on hitting the whitewater park today, just have to find a surf rental. Everyone keeps telling me about Stanley Idaho so we’ll def head that way eventually. Still trying to track down a copy of ‘ The complete guide to Idaho Hot Spring’ by Doug Roloff...

    E350 Chinook Build

To be honest I’m not sure. I like them but what Weldtech is charging for them seems high. Met up with a guy who reached out while I was in CO to see the rig and he agreed. I don’t believe there is anything too special about the rear leaf pack they use. Buy direct from a spring shop and save big...

Newbie here: Please school me on NV 3500 4x4 conversions.

I met a dude on the road a couple months ago in Kanab UT who had one converted I believe at advanced. Said he was into the rig for 90k for the conversion and aluminess front bumper and rack. Doesn’t seem worth the money to me but it did look great!

Ah I just assumed when I heard 90ftlbs as the limit, you were torquing them at 60ftlbs of torque or something haha. I just did the math on mine and I believe these plugs had 52k on them. Previous owner gave me a bunch of old receipts including one for spark plugs from Ford. So your correct if...

    E350 Chinook Build

A couple thing here: Ok well I agree 10ftlbs is too low. With all the information I’ve searched through and from the consensus of people I’ve talked to says to touque it between 20-25ftlbs. And since it’s a known problem, regularly checking them, regardless how difficult/impractical that is...

    E350 Chinook Build

Torquing them higher is not going to help and might actually be worse. I talked to my buddy and he said “DONT over torque, and to check the torque often on them to help mitigate the issue” It actually did really good. Traction wasn’t the issue, steering and sliding was. If you stayed in the...

She spit two spark plugs, a known problem on all 2v triton motors. I fixed it with the best kit on the market (cal-van insert) and it spit on of the inserts out. I have a buddy Justin in Denver with an amazing Volvo specially shop “Baker Garage” , he was a Ford master mechanic for years and...
