Mpg wise the 7.3 will do the same or a tad better than the 6.2. But with more power and simplicity. I got a friend with an f250 with the 6.2, we did a comparison. I think you can get the 6.2 with a 10 speed as an option in the f250 as well… I might be wrong.
Yes the cummins is proving better fuel economy. I’m really excited to see what’s next for the new transmission. You have an awesome truck btw, I’m just upset you don’t post more pics, lol.
I doubt the prices will drop, much, the trx is new and prices were high. But with the announcement of the end of the 6.2 hellcat in 2023, people will want those trucks, it’s unknown what power plant the trx will get next.
Ford what your doing, get a f250 tremor with the diesel and the longest extended warranty you can get, that power stroke will have super costly repairs after the factory warrenty runs out, take in mind you have to lift the cab for major repairs. Get yourself a caravan camper shell and a titan...
The 3.3 in our explorer squad cars has been flawless and take in mind they run pretty much all shift, stop and go, hard accelerate and slam on the brakes.
Same problem with my 19 power wagon with the leather seats they were horrible, now my 16 with the cloth was fine. My ford has a giant cloth reclining chair for a front seat.
Don’t discount the f150, I have a few friends with the 2.7 and 3.5? They have been problem free, but my friend with the 5.0 has had just as many problems with his as I have the one I use at work. I do agree the super duty line up seams to be very reliable. At my work, the road maintenance guys...
Sounds like your mind is made up. From what I heard today the 2022 order bank for ford is closing in the next week or so. I’ve also heard they have built their allocation of 2022 super duty’s, you probably won’t get a 2022 model but you never know. The 2023 model year order bank should open...
I’ve owned both, I traded a fully loaded 19 power wagon for a 21 f250 XLT tremor with the 7.3 gas. The power wagon is a much more off-road oriented truck that will do better off road and on tighter trails. I traded my power wagon in for several reasons, the small cab space compared to the ford...
here the use salt, but they add sand and cinders to the mix, so not only is your vehicle covered in salt, it’s sand blasted with a nice black tint from cinders.
For work the assigned vehicle to me is a Ford F-150 police responder with the 5.o v8, it’s had a ton of problems in its 34,000 miles. Two cam amd head rebuilts, now it started rattelling and shaking along with the water temp never rises. It’s going in the shop in two weeks. I forgot to mention...
