The end all solution for the TJ brake problem is the black magic brake kit. I did the front and then the rear disc conversion. I can lock up the 35 MT's on asphalt if needed. I have a 5:1 Atlas II TC and can still drive through the brakes with a little gas but way better than stock brakes, like...
This is too good to be true for 60k!!!!
How does it work? Are you on another continent and I send you the money, then it gets shipped to me? Has shipping already been paid for?
I personally do not train enough. I build lots of steel targets and body armor though. Here is a link to the fun test I did. I have built multi target stands before but never one that passes over center, I needed to make sure it would not flop or fall over. I think the testing is the best part.
Hit me up if you want to trade some gear. I can make just about any type of target. The one in the pic has 1/4" (body armor), 3/8" and 1/2" AR500. I cut a hole in a test armor plate to hang on the stand. The resulting sound or the three different thicknesses was cool.
Back story to this stand...
Yes they are. Even a 1/8npt petcock would flow enough air. A little silicone would work like loctite and teflon tape to contain leaks. The smaller the vent the better. Air flows much faster than water.
This is a Sig Sierra 3 BDX paired with a range finder and my iphone. Enter the data once, then range and put the dot on target. It is capable of 1200yd hits mounted on a 6mm Creedmore.
I hear the shop roll is a good piece of gear. My first ATC product was a roll. I thought it was a "shop roll", but it was not. Well made but not a shop roll. Most likely I simply did not know the difference. I do now! The shop roll is probably the only item from ATC I don't have. The pic is just...
I would buy 2 3/4" by 12" dia. We use the heck out of the pair I bought from you on etsy., We use them to link straps to pull pallets off the nose of ltl loads.
Found you on etsy, just bought two 7/16 for my shop. Giving up on chains, using these to link up snatch straps to unload 52' trailers with parts in the nose.
How is that working? I was going to go the same route but some gurus on another forum said it was dangerous. I cannot see a danger, but I do see a safety feature, less moving mass in a line failure. A soft shackle would carry the same load I believe.
Pics?
After reviewing and a little study, it does too much. If it fails, you lose a lot of function if you are using it to it's capability. I have an Overlander and a inReach. If one goes down, I still have the other. Same for the spod type of features using switches. If the unit is stolen or broken...
TRE makes some nice gear. I use their soft shackles most places now, simply lighter, easier and safer.
