Hmmm. Does the problem stay the same when stopping from all speeds? Same when loaded or unloaded?
The reason I ask is I've seen more than a few of the FUSO trucks have heavy shudder under braking. Some of those were drum related, but others were suspension related.
Drums could be the cause, true. Could also be wheels that are hub centric instead of stud centric. Could be wrong lug nuts. Could be tire issues. Could be poorly adjusted brake shoes. I can't see the wheels being an issue as long as they're good wheels, but then again I've seen lots of bad...

Alexwheels supplies some of them, of course out of China. Might be worthwhile directly with the manufacturer to see if there are any stocks they know of in the U.S.A. Either that or just buy them direct.

Those Al wheels from most of those guys are actually made in China, and for the life of me I can't remember what the heck the manufacturer name is. When I got mine from EC for my old rig, they shipped them in the original boxes. I remember looking them up and they supplied quite a few big names...
