    Isuzu npr 4wd

Found the answer posted earlier. No panel detail: https://australmotorhomes.com.au/slide-on-campers/truck-mount/savanna-3-5/ https://australmotorhomes.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Truck-slide-on-brochure-v3.1.pdf ~$47k full up in $US, is certainly a good price. I'm very leery of anyone...

F450 Custom Composite Expedition Truck - ALL THE DETAILS

I like the F450! One difference of the pickup model vs C&C is the fully boxed frame, so you should be able to mount the camper without an articulating subframe. I'd opt for the C&C though if I was building one, for the engine and wheelbase options. Since your payload won't be that high, will...

    Jaleo 2- Building a 2012 E-350 4x4-Third time is the charm

I live in Ruidoso, which is a bit north of there. If you head west of here 100 miles or so, the vast Gila Forest is north of Silver City.

    Maverick or Ridgeline? 🤔 I’m stuck…

Not even a little popup wedge that lives on the truck? Seems pretty crazy... I mean... you could very convincingly argue that it isn't a "camper" at all, but just a shell. Earlier you mentioned wanting AWD for the rainy PNW. I'm sure you know that the PNW isn't wet in the summer...?

Lux campers taken over by homeless

They are in a fenced lot (tall fence and barbed wire) in the middle of the LA megalopolis. I couldn't find any info about them being out of business... CA has 28% of the US homeless. Many move to where the climate, services, and laws favor them.

    Maverick or Ridgeline? 🤔 I’m stuck…

It's slightly shorter than a Ridgeline anyway... So how tall is your door? Ground clearance is pretty atrocious on the Ridgeline, supposedly a little better on the Maverick.

You can buy a reg cab F150 though, with a 6.5' or 8' box.

Lux campers taken over by homeless

Based on 1 min of search, I don't think they even have a city police force. It's LA Sheriffs who police this town. So... that's who they should be talking to. But regardless, they should have nipped this in the bud. It's been going on for months with no action. The real issue is probably the...

    Maverick or Ridgeline? 🤔 I’m stuck…

Am I right in assuming that height to fit in the garage is the main issue? Garaging is mandatory where you live? How offroad capable does it need to be?

    Maverick or Ridgeline? 🤔 I’m stuck…

Who said he did? I responded to his rant about how silly vehicles have become. It would be a whole lot simpler if you wouldn't keep taking offense and making up BS when I state the obvious. Man, I hope Ozarker comes back soon, so you can entertain yourself with him instead. :ROFLMAO:

No. You want a stiff plate at each mounting point that is large enough to spread the load. Specs on the skin, the foam, the adhesive, and the ladder would be helpful.

https://www.reuters.com/article/business/how-us-emissions-rules-encourage-larger-suvs-and-trucks-idUSKBN21D1KK/ The fatality rate for a mini car is ~7x higher than for a pickup. Typical cars are ~2x higher. SUVs are slightly better than pickups. All of them have to meet the same standards for...

    Maverick or Ridgeline? 🤔 I’m stuck…

You left out the fact that... 1) EPA regulations favor larger vehicles. 2) If you drive a small vehicle it's dangerous in a collision, when everyone else has big ones. 3) Can't see around you, when all the other vehicles are taller. 4) The chicken/truck tax means they are safe from foreign...

    Hardside wedge designs

IME the truck handles fine (even with no swaybars  ) and handles wind quite well, and the MPG hit is ~15%, with a fixed camper with 75" of headroom. The potential low branch issue is addressed by not mounting things on the roof. I'll probably end up getting a pole saw at some point for...
