Hey folks, what's your go to meals for car camping that don't require scrubbing or plenty of water?
I have a griddle/scottle and the requisite cast iron cookware. I'm not a big fan of super saucy dishes 'cause they take a while to clean.
Same. If you’re sleeping on top you gotta use em. I usually use one flat jack on the front and one in the back rather than using the wheel.
There’s a company that sells the mounts for the jacks to go on the front wall of the trailer. Thinking of picking them up this year.

Seems like it has the off-road badge so must likely has that elocker. Without seeing the switch on the dash hard to say.
I second thenewx.org for all things xterra. I remember seeing some issues with 2005+ diffs but my impression was that it wasn’t widespread.

What do you store in there? Is it robust enough?
This is what I got, trying to figure out how to make it work.
The latch is in the way of putting it fully flat right now. But I like the price and having it open up like that.

Hi folks, if you’ve mounted an extra storage box on the fender can you show me the bottom? I got a box and the hinge won’t let it lay flat on the fender.

Why eat smokies? I prefer to start with a pork butt, gently smoke it for 8 hours (depending on size of course) let it rest for 2 hours and consume it with organic home made bbq sauce
:D
Wow that's beautiful setup @Wynn . What's the story with that little window in the genny compartment?
Here's my setup. Renogy 100 watt portable, with a homemade 1250Wh LIFePo4 battery in the tongue box:
We have the 4 person OVS tent, which is a clone? same factory? as Smittybilt XL and it's been doing just fine on stock rails. The overhang on either side was concerning to me initially, but there have been no issues so far. Some folks have reinforced their roof racks earlier in this thread...
How do you like it? I'm really interested in one of the single Kokopelli models. What are the drawbacks of having a small inflatable like that? I primarily want to try rivers and lakes.
