Mine is also glossy, and as mentioned above, was purchased from Lytle Racing on Amazon. I called them the other day and they claim to be an authorized dealer purchasing directly from antigravity. I paid about $140 so not super cheap.
I tried to call the Albuquerque location to check on actual stock but all calls are forwarded to a call center. The person I spoke to about shackles told me they were on sale.
I bought 4 but the price was the same for 1.
I guess the secret sale is over....
Yes you need to call in, I'm not sure how long they are on sale, I'm surprised it's still going on.
Also note that these are bare metal, I'm not worried about it because I keep them in my recovery bag. For the price it's easy enough to paint them if needed.
So awesome to have a 7 ton WLL on...
Good to see some people are taking advantage of the sale.
ramonortiz55 you just hooked me up with a Boss4x4 group buy code over on TW, I'm glad I could help you out.
Thanks! I like the option of being able to back up easily, I have trouble getting on board with the trailer idea for more challenging trails. Of course I'm making assumptions here as I've never towed an off road trailer, plenty of people do it so it can't be that terrible.
I purchased mine back in March 2014 on Amazon from Lytle Racing and paid $138. If Antigravity is not backing up their product purchased from Amazon it is complete BS and no one should purchase product from Antigravity.
I lucked into this today when I called Grainger so I thought I would share this great deal.
THESE are on sale for $18.50 a piece if you call in to Grainger to order. I purchased some to replace the Chinese shackles that came with my Viking recovery kit.
Notice that the WLL of CM's Alloy 3/4"...
Great looking truck, congrats!
Great advice. I have no doubt that the PW can handle a 1300lbs slide in (with proper suspension mods for the weight) without issues but I'm one of those paranoid people that want to stay within the GVWR listed by the manufacturer. I know the chances of being...
Well that changes things... The two dealers I talked when the 6.4 just came out had me thinking they were limited availability and were barely discounted. I guess they were doing their job well.
Maybe because the 6.4 just came out?
Raton Pass is a pretty good grade and it tops out at 7800 ft, all the stock gas trucks I've driven over it have down shifted and revved quite a bit to maintain 60-65 mph, including our 2015 4Runner. I wouldn't feel too bad about 3rd with your heavy 33" tires and the weight you have added. A...
