    Kia sorento

There really isnt a whole lot of info out there on these things because there isnt much aftermarket, and only a couple of us are crazy enough to build them. There are some common sorento issues to watch out for. 2003 to 2009 are the full frame with lo ranger years. 2007 they got a "face lift"...

Sold my Eagle, now what? (Bought a Trooper)

Love seeing some trooper builds, but bummer the eagle is gone, I am more of an eagle fan than a trooper fan! Eitherway, I just discovered this site yesterday and I am tickled to be seeing so many unique 4x4 builds here!

Why no SAS on "expo" type trucks???

That is the exact problem I had with my Isuzu Rodeo I had it on 40 inch super swampers in one ton axles it had about 1 inch between the frame rail in the axles which equals zero up travel and it was as tall as a Chevy pickup on 54 inch tires. Even if I was to cut the frame rails out and move...

Why no SAS on "expo" type trucks???

I agree completely with your statement. I mentioned cost aswell. Though I do think as our hobby progresses and more and more racers go ifs, that the cost will come down, and the cost of a good solid front will go up simply becuase of supply. There are companies making aftermarket housings now...

    Kia sorento

I've had several makes and models of vehicles over the years so I've got alot I can compare too. It has a mitsubishi clone motor. (copy of the mitsubishi 3.5) toyota built 4 speed auto, and a borg warner tcase. So it is pretty stout really. Axles are very comparable to montero axles. 9.5...

Why no SAS on "expo" type trucks???

I've had many differant types of builds. I like a good solid axle for crazy rock crawling. But independent is much better texhnology, and realistically some independent setups are stout. Biggest issue with independent is the cost associated with tire size. It is alot easier to fabricate...
